Thanks all for the information, the engine bay mounting is a good idea.
It looks like I’ll be removing the Vanner system as I go through the electrical system.
It is giving me a hi/lo light, but my batteries are minimum of 6y years old and the terminals are heavily corroded.
I’ve got 4 brand new batteries and new cables to install in the next few days, maybe that resolve my Vanner issue.

From the Prevost Website this is what my Clearance lights look like. I have a round hole thru the cap that the bulb and socket sit in, the lens and gasket bolt to the cap. I am going to call Prevost tomorrow and see what they recommend.

Thanks Don, The lights you have are definitely too big for the pockets in my front cap. The pocket is 4″ x 2″ and my mounting hole center is 3.28″, the ones you have are 3.63″. They must have changes the lights and how they mount sometime between my year and yours. I will keep looking.

On my Royale I got rid of that 50DN completely. No more leaks to deal with. My buddy designed the bracket for his Wanderlodge, he’s now selling them as part of a kit which includes everything you need to delete the 50DN.

I put a gallon of antifreeze into the top of radiator and that appeared to fill the system up. I put antifreeze in the plastic overflow jug to the cold mark.
Then I started the generator using the switch on the back of the generator and sat in the co-pilots seat to watch the generator temp … walking around to see what’s going on with the overflow jug once in a while.
We normally see a max generator temp of 180*F. I watched as the temp climbed to 190*F and shut the generator down using the switch on the back. Still no radiator fan working! The overflow jug did go from the cold line to the hot line.
I was preparing myself to dig into the electric wiring for the generator fan (a 120volt AC squirrel cage I was remember seeing reference to). I was going to ask here how to do it.
Then I saw a post on one of the Prevost Facebook pages that if you start the generator on a Liberty with the WatchDog using the switch from the back of the generator the squirrel cage fan DOES NOT run.
So I went back to the coach, turned all the electrical on, and started the generator from the Allen-Bradley screen. Again I sat in the co-pilot’s seat and watched the generator temp rise to 175*F (cool day, modest load) and stop. The temp sat at 175*F for over 30 minutes. Also the generator cooling fan light on the dash was illuminated.
So … I learned something about how Liberty has wired the cooling the fan. Always start the generator from the Allen-Bradley screen.

I was specific about my procedure being for a Liberty which has the radiator cap quite a bit higher than the generator coolant cap. Other conversions likely have the relative levels different than Liberty so what I have to do is likely not the same.

OOOOOPS, Good catch Mikee:
Somehow (age?) I got confused when putting my post together. I’ll correct my original.
The mx manual states “41 pints”. My diff holds 4.5 gals = 36 pints (not 18) without draining the hubs.My drive axle hubs don’t have a drain/fill plug in them. I wish they did.Clint & Tammy Summers
