If you want to hear from owners of near new coaches to get their evaluations I suggest you enable your email. If you do that you can have private discussions from owners who may not wish to post on a public forum.
While we would welcome such a public discussion of owners of all coaches we understand some wish to remain “below the radar”.
Converters, dealers and Prevost people occasionally read the posts and we all benefit when we do have open discussions of what we as owners find as plusses and minuses with our coaches because new coaches are designed to meet our needs.

One of the reasons I chose the H was storage bay(s’) arrangement and size; since they are substantially taller. There wasn’t a need for me to rearrange. I use the first bay for a tall folding ladder and power washer, a one gallon fuel can for it, and the long handle for brushes and squeegee kit that comes with Liberty, and a few large wood blocks. In this H and most others near its age, the house batteries are neatly and accessibly mounted in the engine bay.
The second bay passenger side has a mechanics castered & adjustable stool, your (4) support stands and shims, two 20 ton hydraulic bottle jacks, exterior cleaing supplies and utensils, buckets, X12, torque wrench, oil, ATF large and small impact wrenches, drills, buffers, work shoes, aprons, and that manuals’ carrying case, For us (me), more outside room or access is not really needed, and the first bay still has room for bulky items such as suitcases, a case each of paper towels and TP, 5 gallon cooler water jug, and bulk food items.
This useable and abundant space was not present in an XL or XLV. But, of course, we don’t have slides. Love that OTR, though.

If you go to the Love’s web site you will see they list the biodiesel content. It is very easy to see which states mandate B19 or B5 or whatever the state requirements are.
For example if you fuel at a Love’s in TX or AZ you are going to get B19, and if you fuel in TN you will get B5. The point is even though Pilot Flying J does not list the bio content I would bet it is the same.

Use a wet/dry Shop Vac to suck the drain hose clear. You will need a reducer for the Shop Vac to get down to the size of the drain hose. Home Depot or Sears usually has the reducer that will get you close. Several wraps of tape will make up any difference.

why 40ft. if its truning radius– my 45XLE will turn with any40ft with the IFS front suspension. Check out specifications. Not necessarly going to be less expensive to buy or operate and resale might be lower. Not to to change directions but if turning radius was reason ck it out or ask Questions about other differances. Bob

No sales/use tax if registered out of state more than 6 months.
No annual vehicle inspections. This can be a pain for full timers if required by your state.
When you are ready to go back to bricks and sticks, why not Florida?
Unless you currently live within 40 miles or so from a military hospital and aren’t covered by Medicare, you are covered by Tricare Standard. This allows you go most anywhere. You might consider a supplement to cap your annual costs.

if it stays up it should tell you that the leak is in your aux air system. When mine drops after sitting the aux air goes below 30-40 PSI the system automatically dumps the tag axle air. It seems like when it does the passenger side is lower than the drivers side.

got the black water sensors all repair. Went to lowes and bought 4 1/4 20 well nuts and a pack of stainless steel screws cleaned the fAce of tank with a little emery paper, installed new well nuts .all working .the complete cost of 8 bucks

Yes, I was talking about the Ford alarm system. I found a bay door this weekend that was not locking. The lock was really hard to work even with the key, so I lubricated it with a dry lubricant, blew off the dust and it is now working. The motor was working fine and it was getting electricity. I lubricated all of the locks while I was at it. I will be using the coach later this week and will see if that was the issue.

We replaced our electric TV antenna with a new, stationary one designed for digital reception. Liberty Coach in Stuart, FL did the installation.
Very happy with both the performance and finished look of the new antenna. One of my concerns was that as the old antenna aged, there might be a time went it went up……and stayed there.

See Rob got you ansered. I was off at rally having great time at the GREAT AMERICAM BUS RALLY in Shellyville Tn . The alum out of racks you can use down the road for conversion if you have room to store the sheet and extrusions. The extrusions make good frame work or stiff backs for frame work. Sheeting is great for rough in then you can cover it and make look pretty. What is left in the end= $$ for oil&tires. Light bulbs out of reading lights fit all over coach. Just ask questions if you have problems. Bob

Our H3 did not require the windshield be removed (but XLs are a different story). This was done in late June. We replaced the refrigerator, an Amana, with a double door and (lower) freezer drawer KitchenAid. There have been (new) Asian brands that have current class action suits against them; very modern/techno but evidently troublesome, accused of knowingly hiding/ignoring the issue(s).
Anyway, I thought of having the Amana repaired (not cooling), but the white coated wire baskets had long ago begun to rust through after this amount of time, and the width and shelving convenience were inadequate. The new one is stainless, and should match virtually any decor (my opinion only).
