Thank you for the support….I was going to do a Stacker anyway, and if I was wrong…I’d figure out something else…it just makes sense to me. I look at it this way…won’t be the first or last time I’ve been wrong.

I guess when mine are due for changing (2 years) I’m going to complete my on-the-job training. Kinda like summer school because I failed the first semester.

That won’t be happening! My vintage shade
electric control boards are unobtainable. It’s bad enough that
Liberty had to hook several blinds to the same control board, so if I
choose to open/close just one shade, I will get two moving and they
might be on opposite sides of the bus. My only option is to open or
close all. And it’s only a matter of time before the next board goes
bad. Yours are likely a newer version.

We’ve always had day/night shades and
compared to the those, these suck! With day/nights, you can block out
the sun without the bus having to feel like a dark tomb. You also
have some privacy with the day shades and still allow plenty of light
in.

Let’s see, pull a cord, choose day,
choose night or open completely vs pushing a button for either open
or closed! I’ll take the reliability of the pull cord and day/nights
any day.

Oh ya, while we’re on shades, OTR creates
another little dilemma… You have to raise all shades when OTR is on
or your super expensive Hunter Douglas blinds look like little
versions of the Goodyear blimp. Talk about billowing! So you’re
going down the road, it’s hotter than a black Hummer in August in
Vegas, but you can’t lower the shades to help block the sun because
the OTR vents get blocked and your shades look like parachutes.

Ya I know, compromises……
