Contact Miller Insurance Agency. They are a PC advertiser. We bought our Prevost in April and we are very happy with their service, coverage, and premium. No claims yet.

No problem with the length. Nothing has changed there. The engine cradel is closer to the pulley now and there is not eough space for the belt to slide through.

John Cooper was right. The only way to get it off was to turn the belt 90 degrees to the pulley. Thanks for that tip.

Finally got the first one off. Thought the second would be a breeze but I like to never got it off. Could have cut it but by now it was the principle of the thing. After it came off the two new ones went on fairly easy compared to getting the old ones off.

This does mark a change with the new engine cradle. Before I could slide the old belts off and new ones one in about the time it took me to type this sentence.

    Thanks for all your help.

Followed the steps above and the bus immediately started to lean to the driver’s side. Bus is now shut off and one tag tire is off the ground the other is touching the ground on the driver’s side.

In addition I have lost about 6 # on the dash gauges if that matters. This is within about 10 minutes of shutting off the bus.

The test worked and she is leaning.

    Mr. Mark…

We spend lots of time at our beach front lot in Crystal Beach, Texas and haul lots of “beach stuff” back and forth to the beach… the sand is endless and I don’t allow any of the beach stuff anywhere near the bus, I keep a huge container of water and towels by the bus door for our feet and NO sand in the bus to speak of… just the way it has to be… also we always have family with us to go eat etc and we are both big and like the Suburban size… if we could go smaller i would buy an SRX they are great little vehicles… just too small for us.. Larry won’t even consider a Tahoe. We had an H3 and it was too small and had a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and didn’t like it either… just too small for big people like us.

By the way as far as what we are pulling there is such a little difference in big, or small… our fuel mileage didn’t seem to change at all.

I need to check more into the battery cable part of it… even the dealers are clueless !!!

To get some of mine off I bought a small oil filter wrench that was plastic and had a rubber strap to put around the filter. Works real good and doesn’t scratch anything.

Okay, here is an update. I reached out to Mike Migual at Prevost Nashville by email. I could not easily find a public email for the service writer or service manager at Prevost Mira Loma so I sent a copy to prevostcar@volvo.com.

I receieved a reply from that second email in 8 minutes letting me know they were forwarding it to the proper person at Mira Loma. One hour later I received an email from David Van Nispen the service manager at Prevost Mira Loma asking for details, VIN and promising to see what kind of assistance they could offer.

By the end of the day they had offered some relief. We have not arrived at the final solution yet but I do have and appointment there next Thursday morning to replace the window in quesiton. I will let you know the complete details when I know them. I will say this. David Van Nispen has been very cooperative and helpful.

I have not heard back from Mike Migual but to be fair he is usually very prompt to return my emails. Mr. Van Nispen’s first email to me was cc to Mike Fitch at Prevost Nashville so it is probable Mike Migual was brought into the loop then.

I do appreciate all the leads for repair outside of Prevost. That is very good information I will file away for the future. I think I should try this first.

    Les, looks nice!

Is the hula girl just out of frame on the right? Ha! Ha!

Also, I can tell by the wiper blades that you are not driving a Prevost….. and, the mirrors give it away too with the camera on the lower arm.

    Whatcha driving?

    Safe travels,

    MM.

I agree with Will. Pin it and we will approve it right away. Valdosta is along a route heavily travelled by a lot of our members so knowing where good generator service is available will benefit a lot of our members.

This is where Nancy needs to start posting. Go ahead Tom, let her read the thread, especially Peter’s post, and then let her put her two cents into this thread.

Over the last 4 1/2 years Grizz I have heard comments about you starting the Prevost site. Unfortunately your original creation has been handled in a way that wasn’t always in the interest of helping Prevost owners. With the start of PC by Jon and Tom the PC site has grown beyond there wildest dreams.

PC is the best around and the go to site for tech information…bar none. I’am proud to be a member knowing some of the best people on the planet.

    Thanks for posting Grizz.

White smoke is usually the result of raw unburned fuel vapors, such as on a cold start up. Black smoke is typically a result of the mixture being too rich (not enough air).

No, I haven’t tried to sell it yet. Once I get everything swapped over, I’ll advertise it. It would make someone a good one.

    You coming to Tampa?
