I do notice a bit of wind noise at highway speeds due to lack of engine or tire noise. I always thought it was primarily caused by the big mirrors not the windows. Are your gaskets in good shape?

    Paul,

We have had our Prevost for just over a year… My wife and three kids have been full timing in for over 6 months as we try to cover the US. We have stayed in some amazing places and some real dumps… We are learning as we go… we us big rigs book and generally have been pleased with the information we get there. We pretty much tossed the woodal’s after a couple of really bad stops that were very highly rated. We always check Rvparkreviews.com and when in doubt or when we have issues I post here on PC in parking and get suggestions from other PC members…which have always been spot on it.

Our goal on this particular trip is to show the kids the sites so we are trying to get the Bus as close to the places we want to see… But in several cases an hour or so away was as close as we can get. We have been in some places that clamed to be Big Rig friendly that I am still not sure how I actually got the Bus in and out without hitting something….

We wish that everyplace we stop would be like Hilton Head Motorcoach resort or Pelican Lakes… but the reality for us is we don’t really need much more than a safe place that we can fit that has good power….

so far on this trip we have not used the rest stop or walmart as all our travels days are pretty short from pole to pole…

    Hope that helps!

The Detriot dealer is 5 miles from the campground. Daigle & Houghton is just off I95 exit 180. They do good work and I would recommend them. Depending on which way you are heading to the camping you maybe going right by them. Rick

    Thanks for participating Wayne.

This program is going to be successful if most if not all PC members participate and buy a lot of fuel through the program. So if you haven’t signed up yet, have at it. The more the merrier.

I don’t want to complain and will take my request off-line if needed but thought maybe others may be experiencing similar issues and would benefit from the feedback. I can only make posts using my company supplied computer or my cell phone. If I use my home computer while my post does post, it is empty. I don’t know if the issue is with the javascript or the asp. I know I have a non standard os and older browser, linux and older firefox but I don’t have any issue with most sites so maybe a tweek of either the js or asp would fix it. I would be glad to work with someone to diagnose it. I know that making a site compatible for everyone can be very difficlut.

Hi Rodger, what does this all mean? I’ve never run a test on my engine and
I’m wondering what are the normal readings that one should see and is there
even a “normal” to be had? I mean, would these readings all be read
differently if say your engine was 5 years younger or older? And would normal readings
for your engine be different then for a Series 60? I think it’s a great idea to run a
test like this and to know the “insides” of ones engine, but you’d have to have
some references to make a fair assessment right?

    Just wondering.

    Rodger,

Do you know what this relay is doing? It clearly is not carrying the inverter load. The vintage Freedom 2000 inverter/chargers I have are self contained, meaning they monitor AC input and automatically which inverter output to the coach load when AC input is not present. Your’s may be older and require an external sensing relay. If so, Xantrex should be able to help if you can’t find the part number.

We can all learn a lot from the likes of Jim A RV fire expert and a Eagle owner. Clifford who has owned multiple Eagles and Prevost. Eric On the east coast Who is a Eagle owner /Cabinet maker who is doing some fantastic engine-trans experiments. Not to mention Technomads Chris&Cherie who just happen to own a GM who’s on road computer skills scare me. Not to mention thier lithium ion battery research. I will hold off and limit my spreading the site info. I will keep my personal lines open to them and have shared where I can be contacted with some if BCM crashes. What I do is a combination of their effords. Bob
