Key pad
Here we are 700 miles from home. The transmission key pad does not go into drive. R & N work. Thinking complete replacement may be the best as hope to start towards home next week. What does the brains think?

Power every thing down, let sit a few minutes and reboot entire bus.
Get under bus check all connections are pushed in and secure to transmission.
Got my fingers crossed.

Try this apply your parking brake and push the up and down arrow simultaneously if you have a do not shift code that will remove it and let it shift

thanks for the replies. Had already done most of the list. Got a new keypad at the Phoenix ALlison dealer. Was a quick change out and now all seems well.

Based on what I paid for toilet parts last week, what does a transmission key pad cost ?

When it comes to toilets and transmissions, when you gotta go, having things working is priceless.

Paid $800 and change. Called Prevost at Elgin and was quoted a lot more. First time found them to be so far out of line.
Plus I got the pad today. As the price of pads it was more than my IPad.

I’am sure Pat did not have the same reaction with a key pad malfuction as Mary Ellen toilet in-op for 3 days.
