We just had the top end done on our engine at Pittsburgh Power. We made an
appoint for 7:00 am on a Monday. We arrived on Sunday night and slept in their
parking lot. Coach was brought in at 7:00 am and finished the same day.
They also have a dump station on site. We stayed over another night so we
could go visit our daughter at PITT. Great people.

I cleaned under neigh with a pressure washer and simple green engine area trans but I stayed away from brakes, I did not want to get grease on shoes and pads. as I work on air valves and different things I clean that area, But like Jon said it’s not the best thing to waste your time on, It will get dirty quick if you drive it. Spend time on engine area it looks good when you do it and it’s easy to maintain after you clean it. I got Detroit series 60 blue paint and some black paint and went to town, some of the guys did great jobs, Craig Wickham did a incredible job on his engine . Prevost must use good paint on engine area cause it cleaned up nice. When I cleaned the coolant expansion tank those small hoses were hard as rocks and as soon as I touched them they broke, Good time to replace the hoses. Alot of the guys up grade the belt tensioner with auto tensioner and some other parts, I will down the road, I got the new oil fill, but I need the kit for it I just didn’t feel like spending $1000 bucks on that now. Use the search button on the forum and you can see the different projects people have done to their buses .

I never seen La Mirage spelled with and A, I thinks its Le Mirage.
That wasn’t you sleeping in the Telsa on the freeway was it? They showed him on the news last week.

Jeff, A Prevost does not wander. I am not trying to sound like a salesman, just want to make you aware if you are having an issue like that it sounds like you need a three axle alignment.
I thought my bus tracked straight as an arrow but I had Nashville Prevost do an alignment. The technician will go over the entire steering system before he begins and if he feels it needs any parts or repairs he will get that done, and then he aligns it, putting all values not only in the acceptable range, but in the middle of the acceptable range. He can also tweak it to your style of driving. He biased mine towards the RH lane with the adjustment compensating for the typical RH lane crown.
It was a noticeable improvement, despite the fact I thought driving if before was effortless.

I know they have age limits but I have to believe there is considerable value to a down payment as you mentioned.

The current Corvette is my last because the next generation is only available with an automatic transmission.

If you want to stop earlier, exit 306 north of Atlanta at Adairsville, GA is where we always stay, easy in and out and long pull throughs. Just left there today.

I’m a Waze user as well, but pay no attention to any rerouting or directions.
Les – As to the CB mindless chatter, I disagree and have been using a CB since it’s inception into trucking in the early 70’s when we actually had a license. Back then in the pay phone days it was almost a necessity, today the cell phones and apps like Waze have certainly changed the CB traffic to almost nothing in parts of the country. Just try to get a radio check these days, crickets…..
I’ll grant you the language and nastiness is still out there, but the instant information you can get on 19 for hazards, traffic, accidents, weather, etc. is priceless. Remember, many public safety services still monitor the emergency channel 9.

I have replaced the K910026 on PS side so the only ones to replace is the lifting valve and the K910026 on DS side. One of the Prevost techs Eric George is working on the correct lifting valve. 3 ports supply-return-control and it’s NC normally closed W/ spring. Hopefully I will get an answer on correct valve.

Take the lenses off, only two screws each lense. Allows you to clean the inside of the lenses and buckets grease socket and possible change the bulbs with LED bulbs. Cheap, but still better then the standard bulbs
