Tag lifting Valve
Still not having much luck finding this valve 1st picture is my valve old Burkert valve I need the Norgren replacement it lifts the tag axle 2nd photo Is someone on forums picture. I need Norgren part # ? Has anyone know if they added a spring ?

Doesn’t Prevost have a drop in replacement Norgren? If not you are going to have to figure out the valve paths with air to the pilot and no air to the pilot and describe it to a Norgren tech to find their match as far as air flow circuits.
If I remember correct the valve not only lifts the tag, it also disables the brakes on the tag axle.

2 Norgren tag lift/brake disconnect valves. On the driver side 1 is forward of the Burkert valve. 3 port Norgren p/n K41EA00KS1KA2 same as Prevost p/n K910026. Info posted on PC. No Burkert on curb side.

I have replaced the K910026 on PS side so the only ones to replace is the lifting valve and the K910026 on DS side. One of the Prevost techs Eric George is working on the correct lifting valve. 3 ports supply-return-control and it’s NC normally closed W/ spring. Hopefully I will get an answer on correct valve.

Does anyone know about this?? Talked To Eric George from Prevost about the Burkett valve for lifting tag axle and he said to convert to Norgren It’s like the newer buses. So the Burkett valve is NC normally closed and the Norgren valve is NO normally open so he said it just connects different, here is what he sent me, If it makes sense to anyone. Now air opens valve when tag is to lift and new one air closes valve, he said just connects differently.

I’m finding out you can make a Norgren K910026 valve and make it allways open or closed NC or NO by just reversing ports, port #2 is always delivery but if you change ports #1 & #3 it will change it. (NC) is port #2 delivery port #1 supply port #3 exhaust . (NO) port#2 delivery port #3 supply port#1 exhaust. If you look in steer compartment lower Norgren K910026valve is (NC) look at schematic, and rear inside frame above tag on both sides there are Norgrenvalves K910026 and they are (NO) look at schematic difference is ports #1 & #3 are reversed. I now understand the drawings I posted up above.

As built Norgren valves help you understand them. For example if you apply air to 12 which is the pneumatic operator it opens the path 1-2. Easy way to understand things

Got the last 2 Norgren valves replaced had to drill and tap the frame to replace the valve that was a Burkett valve different size, so I fit the K910026 NC valve and plumbed it in now I just need to check for leaks again and zip tie and clean it up.
