  • Using New Fuel Card

Posted by Rudy on August 2, 2019 at 10:56 am

Thursday, I used the TSD fuel card at Love’s Baytown, TX. Friday morning, I received the email showing the results of the transaction.

    Cash Price – $2.85

    Average Price – $2.47 (including 10% fee)

    Average Price – $2.43 (before 10% fee)

    Discount $0.42 per gallon

Plus the total fuel, total price at pump, total price to be debited from bank and date funds to be debited. More info than I wanted to know.

    At the pump —

Insert Card, Enter PIN, Select Tractor, Skip DEF, Skip cash advance, Skip additional products, Fuel, Note totals on pump and leave

    Easier than Profit card

The numbers look great, Rudy. I received my card today and got the PIN fixed up. Easy process. I did 1800 hundred miles in 8 days ending Wednesday and filled up twice at $3.13.

I am anxious to use this at Love’s in Sparta, KY next Thursday. The price looks great there today.

The folks administering the program have been great to work with too.

The price today in Sparta is $2.5239. This is going to save you some serious money for your ministry.

Gina at TSD is super helpful as you have found.

I’ll be fueling tomorrow for the first time also and will report back.

This morning I was perusing the daily email through some of the Love’s locations I have used in the past and will probably use later this year and I found a stunner.

Prices in California are going to be tremendous!

Keeping perspective, we are still paying too much for something that, all things being equal, we should be paying less than two dollars for, but saving 60+ cents a gallon is nothing to sneeze at in California. Makes me feel like I am breaking the law in California. Next thing you know I will be a regular criminal and go 57 MPH up the 99 while pulling my car.

First time using the new card, even easier than the Profit card, no tractor number or driver number needed, piece of cake.

You can’t beat this new service folks…

    Loves Cash Price 2.95

    TSD Net Price 2.51

    Savings 58.35

    Savings .44 Per gallon

Tom, A little bird told me that Jon fueled today and saved so much money that he no longer needs to badger you for dues money

Rudy, shoot that little bird. He is lying to you.

Here is the real story. Since Tom is saving so much money in fuel he has no reason to withhold dues money from me and I am expecting a big check.

He has his TSD card and his is special. Instead of him saving money on fuel, the numbers he shows in his post above is how much TSD is paying him per gallon to use the card. I just can’t win.

I submitted my information over the weeked and got an e-mail today that the card would be processed and sent to my current location (not my mailing address) immediately. Thanks for the attention, I need to fill up!

Thanks to Rudy, Jon, Tom for your hard work! Easy to fill out the application and my card is on the way. We’ll use our savings to buy more wine. Life is good.

Hi guys, I think I’m missing something. I entered my VIN info that was accepted and went to the sign up sheet. The sign up sheet does not allow me to enter information from my iPhone or Mac computer. I didn’t see anything about downloading it to desktop with an address to mail or email the form? If it’s there it’s not obvious.

I got the feeling from your posts that you did all this on line. Your guidance would be appreciated.

Harry, On your computer which is connected to a printer, ask the computer to print the file, five pages.

Fill out the form and scan and email or fax the app to TSD. Be sure to fill in the “referred by” as Prevost Community.

No online access to the forms.

    Harry:

I too have a Mac. I saved the form as .pdf and completed and saved it on the Mac. Then I called one of the reps and emailed the form to her. She confirmed receipt. Done like dinner.

Thanks Doug, I was just surprised it wasn’t handled all on line. Hope you and Mary are well.

Hey Harry, a rich guy like you, with that tub full of greenbacks sitting in your coach, they might charge the extra juice to you.
