Fulltime Bill …..you have probably walked into a privately owned NAPA store. Use a company store and this problem goes away.
A code must be entered opening discount price. Some private owned stores resist this.

I have replaced many windshields over the years. A 3hr labor charge per side from Prevost is a fair average. Yes, some go quicker, some are even really quick, but a great many don’t and it takes longer. My worst one took about 8 hours. Just cleaning the rubber after you remove the old can take an hour+ It also depends if someone else already changed it once before and used some type of adhesive inside the rubber. I have ran across a few that were Sikaflexedin place.
With that said, it is fairly easy to do with 2 people. Just go slow and don’t force it.
If you choose to do it yourself, I recommend you go to the local paint, auto, or hardware store and get some plastic sticks. You run a high risk of cracking the class using a screw driver.

I must have got a different rooster, I laughed when I heard it and the lady told me she was in the Philiappines, but her English was good and she did a good job handling my problem. A rare event, usually a nightmare and like Buddy, I insist on someone in the states or hang up.

I doubt it. On the Bus Grease Monkey web site there are members bringing coaches and engines back to live after they sat for decades.
They put new batteries in, check the oil and start them up. Then they run the hell out of them getting 70 year old coaches driven on 50 MPH roads onto interstates and running then as hard and fast as possible to keep up with traffic.

Jon I agree 100%. Even in the car world, as they become more complicated the same is true. I have a lot of experience with the maintenance side of late model european cars. Lack of proper voltage causes a lot of issues. Especially in cars that sit for extended periods of time. I have become very good friends with my local interstate dealer in Sarasota. I can take them batteries, they do a series of tests and either tell me that I should be able to bring it back or just to replace it. I do still use them for some of my general use batteries and with my discount find them cost effective.
With that said, I do love the experience that I have had with Lifelines. I ordered one of the small, light weight Lifelines for one of my race cars. I really didn’t know what to expect. It has been amazing with no downside at all. I will be using it in all of my race cars from here on out.
Sorry to get off subject, I just thought a few of you might enjoy this video. It is a pretty famous car in the BMW world and the end of the video on the dyno is pretty cool. It is the car I referred to using the Lifeline battery.

That is not an unusual 315 wear pattern, and it is the very reason Michelin changed the tread design on the 365 to use a decoupling groove which has proven to result in a greater problem.
On 315 tires it is important to use the tire pressures from the Michelin inflation charts, but that alone will not stop what looks like extra wear on the outside of 315 tread.
