The reason for changing to Bus bars is after a couple of months of testing batteries and a couple of weeks of using them(not dry camping) plugged in but still travel and using DC volts, Victron looked fine 13.2v 68 percent, but the LiTime battery bluetooth reading was off, Volts were close but SOC was off, Before removing batteries I wrote this down #1 battery 100 percent 13.3v – #2 Battery 32 percent 13.2v – #3 Battery 32 percent 13.2v – #4 Battery 72 Percent 13.3v So 1st and 4th batteries used less or none compared to inner batteries, I know this is true because I pulled out batteries lined them on garage floor and charged them with a lithium charger,It has a led that turns green and charger shuts off, on bluetooth said 100 percent charging volts 14.4 resting volts 13.3. #4 battery 72 percent took around 3 hours to fully charge #3 battery 32 percent took around 6 hours to fully charge #2 battery 32 percent took 5 hours and 30 min to fully charge #1 battery 100 percent have not charged it yet but I bet won’t take long. Jerry and Mikee: Did all that. Plot thickens with second inverter. Turns out it was dropped during shipping. Was packaged in wooden box and on pallet according to seller but arrived to me in a flimsy cardboard box (and no pallet) which itself was pretty beat up. Thought something was fishy when it made all sorts of nonelectrical noise (sounded like a food processor chopping whole walnuts) when I started it up and then never worked right even when I set up a test station on my workbench entirely separate from the bus. So now it is on its way back to seller and plan for now is to run entire bus off one inverter. We seldom pull much inverter power – about 10 amps with a toilet flush during a rare boondock night at most – so should be plenty of power to get us by for now and each inverter charges the entire battery bank so charging should be good. Plan to hit Inverter Services on our way to FL this winter and see what they say. Hopefully I will be able to get a refund on the 2k I paid for the rebuild.

Don: As usual your thoughts are great. Now have a nicely functioning Harbor Freight pump installed and works like a charm flushing the Headhunter royal flush toilet without problem. Total cost with discount and taxes: $162. Long way from the nearly 2k for a new Mach 5.

I had less noisy Cruiseairs and now have noisy roof tops. I will put up with a bit more noise for the cool and dependability of the roof airs. I would never go back!

At least all California does is stick a probe up the bus tailpipe and goose the throttle. Here in colorado, you relinquish control of your expensive specialized vehicle to an unknown dude, who then drives it away out of your hands. Then, its placed on a dyno with probes up the talpipe and computer plugged into diagnostic port and stressed under extreme “dyno” load while goosing throttle where drive tires almost stop rolling , looking for exhaust soot “opacity”. No NOX testing, no CO testing, just visible soot Then, depending on facility you are charged up to one hour labor rate. So, stop picking on California, other states are worse. Oh, and dont complain about taxes on license plates. California doesnt hold a candle to ours in colorado. Thank you to the dude called Douglas Bruce (not a lib)who created the Tabor Amendment.
