Looking at the pictures of another 88 liberty we were recently working on. the dump valves should be manual t handle style.

those bezels are like unobtainium. I have some chrome plating lifting on the corners of mine, thought I might be able to source nice replacements either through Prevost, IBP,…etc. NOPE.
So only thing I can do is have mine re-chromed. My bus has had the XL2 ‘like’ light upgrade done in the past by Excalibur, my understanding is removing the bezels at this point will potentially damage the light housing. I guess I’ll figure it out when I dig into it.

Don, I saw those they are much larger than the original. How do they sit in the 4″ x 2″ pockets? The hole spacing is wider than original, Did you just screw them into the fiberglass?

I like the Bosch

I have no problem going and plan too. I doubt the seller will let me take it on a 5 hour road trip before I pay though.

curious as to how the system performs for you as I have one installed but not working. Not sure I want to spend the time to get it going given the mixed reviews.

Turns out it’s just a little collar, serving the same purpose as a hose clamp. Barbed connections on the plastic part. The hose was not leaking, and the plastic part is.

Those holes are for the lower trim pieces added by converters.
Marathon has a very distinctive concave trim piece and others us a flatter trim piece that has bolts welded to the back and you tighten them with nuts from the inside of the doors.
They are about 8” high and the length of each door.
Look at buses for sale and you will see.
Who converted your bus?

It might be hard to find a buyer for 5 year old steer tires. I have a deal with a buddy to sell my 315’s for the lift axle on his dump truck. I’m not expecting to get much for them. If I don’t have to pay $40-50 disposal on each one, and it helps him out, I’m happy.

I am sure if the price is right a buyer will appear.

Thanks for the replys Jack and Mikee.
*Update
With Art’s most excellent help, literally walking me through the diagnosis, we have eliminated some possibilities.
As stated earlier, it isn’t the RV plug in port on the garage, nor the portable Surge protector, nor the heavy duty extension cable.
Shut off all the breakers in the bus, but the house breaker still tripped. We checked the continuity of the shore power cable, and it had continuity on all legs.
My next guess is that it may be an issue with the on bus Progressive Industires Electrical Management System?
Art thinks it’s tha power cable end, as once I got all the sheathing off there is some discoloration.

This weekend was pretty successful. I didnt like the 43″ tv it has now been swapped with a 32″. I have completed the front tv install and the rear tv install. App radio is complete and microphone works for hands free set up. I have removed the old aux air compressor box. Installed new driving lights also.
I have my new aux air compressor to install, but I also need to check my cruise airs. If I install the new compressor it will limit access to one of the cruise airs. I will leave the compressor loose for now till it gets warm enough to test my cruise airs. Currently its too cold to add R22.
All my tires are mounted and at home. Rims were polished by a vis machine and wire wheeled my inner wheel and painted it.
I am enjoying working on the bus, but I know the harder stuff for me is coming. The things I do not understand and will have a large learning curve to figure out.

Did you ask him why he did that? I’m sure there is a very good reason. Maybe there is “touchless charging” from underneath the car that we just aren’t aware of.

I sent Matt an email this morning asking if I can get a set to upgrade the lights
