Well I bought a bunch of new fc-40p connectors and cleaned the board up with alcohol and dielectric grease and it seems to do the trick, so far so good. I was out of options as the board is obsolete and featherlite can no longer produce anymore.

I had a problem with the stainless steel pin as well but my main problem was here. I had to turn the screw all the way in and back out so it could clear the calcium and allow hot water to flow. I was wondering if I could actually take that apart?

Preppers are looking smarter and smarter as time progresses. If one does not have a plan to survive short term without a functional public infrastructure they are at risk. Long term most of us are screwed without those services. I will take a thousand gallons of diesel over solar or wind any day. Most farmers that i know are best prepared in this regard with big diesel storage tanks and pto generators for tractors. On another thread Dick reminds us of a good point that has been discussed here before. Our coaches have big generators and big fuel tanks. We should all have a means of getting that power to our homes in a crisis.

I have used Guest chargers on both chassis and generator batteries. I believe these will auto-disconnect when engine is running, but you should check that,

My generator bay was just like Buddy described. The old gray egg shell looking insulation was deteriorating and a very fine dust falling down along with an occasional chunk or two that I could remove carefully from top of generator. I used 2″ Soundown that I purchased from a yacht supply. Soundown has a website which is soundown.com and it is also available on Amazon and some marine supply houses. change the evacuation fan while the generator is out, trust me it is a PIA to do later.

The first should disable your air horns. You would then have a standard car horn for city driving. The 2nd should turn on a pair of lights in the rear bumper (illegal while driving!) for additional light when backing into spaces at night.

Andre, does your pressure boost gauge work? Is it operating in the anticipated range, providing full boost?
That appears based on the insulation to be on the exhaust side and not pressurized air to the engine, but what does not make sense is why if the hole is open why that area isn’t black with exhaust soot.

The Kubota doesn’t consume any oil so no makeup oil was added. I did change the oil and filter(needlessly) when I took the sample this time.
In the future I plan to do an oil and filter change and send in a sample for analysis every 3 yrs or 300 hrs, whichever comes first.
I use 3 different labs for analysis of my vehicles lubricants and coolants: OAI-Oil Analyzers Inc, JG Lubricant Services, & Blackstone Labs.

If those are push button, the lenses are removable and there are miniature bulbs that are replaceable.
