Battery maintain charger for chassis and generator
What brand battery maintenance charger do you have for the chassis (24 volt) and for the generator (12 volt) do you have?
What is good and bad selections?

I have used Guest chargers on both chassis and generator batteries. I believe these will auto-disconnect when engine is running, but you should check that,

Ditto on the Guest, just be sure it’s 3 stage.

for 24 volt, you will need to buy a dual output charger and hook up in series to get 24 volts.

After my original 24v boat anchor charger fried my batteries I did some searching. I talked to the service manager at Night Train, a bus leasor for the music industry, they currently have 125 plus coaches. He told me he uses Dual Pro exclusively, so I purchased one and have been happy with it.

go to the NAPA store and use your discount. Have a 24 volt for 6 years works great and batteries are 6 yr old and still passing a load test.
