Many moons ago, probably about 23 years, Prevost moved from Williams St in Jacksonville to the new facility where it is today. At the new facility they had yellow plastic chains across the door openings with signs that basically said we owners were not welcome in the shop.
With very rare exception I stopped taking my bus for service at Prevost or anywhere else. Until then I was perfectly happy visiting “Camp Prevost” whenever I needed any kind of service. I don’t think I am far off saying I averaged about $5000 per year so chasing customers away, especially those who have a strong interest, costs Prevost a lot of money.
I have learned a lot by doing my own work, and the ripple effect is I probably have influenced more than a few owners to also do their own work. The fellow in Mira Loma that did the chasing might want to get an attitude adjustment.

They fill holes with stainless and fix holes on upper panel they say you will never know that it had one on it ,will look like it came with a window awning on it and no crap auto awning on can’t wait to see it, I asked do they just put a patch over holes and they said you do not patch a prevost you do it right so it looks like it never came with it, you will not be able to see where holes were and they weld holes closed with no bondo they say it would crack that’s why they weld holes closed
The work done is warantied for life of the bus paint work and repairs

Thanks guys.
Got here just fine. Jeff and his tech Dan are checking out a slow leak in our middle Cruisair and we should be back on the road soon.
Nice people here and the steak and seafood buffet they served was great for dinner! -
Mr. Admin,
Taking care of the seal and the brake chambers ASAP…….. It is never a good Idea to let things go. As every one knows Prevost did not install leaking wheel seals or brake cans with blown diaphrams on my bus when it was new!! Oh something else, while I have her up in the air I will also have a chance to look again for my “rose petal emitting” devices pull rope. Mr. Mark PHD said it was in my seventh bay behind the 4th tag axle.

I installed the Blue Ox base plate and tow bar with the AF-1 brake system. Both work great..

If you take a coach to Prevost to inspect, and expect them to provide information about the health of the engine and transmission it can be compared to going to a general practice physician for a comprehensive heart exam. It is cumbersome taking a coach to multiple places for a pre-purchase inspection, but if you want the best advice that is what you have to do.
If you have an engine or transmission issue Prevost will not work on it, but will send you to the local Detroit dealer so why not do the same for inspections?

Thanks,
Mine must be disconnected as it does not seem to work. I was not sure how it was supposed to operate???

until you have a leak on the Aqua hot then it is expensive to fix and takes out your water heater while it is being repaired. Otherwise pros and cons to both systems

Don’t forget the hand painted picture of the farm house on the ol’ homestead on the back.

Thanks George, If it had been a snake, the sob woulda got me. I too enjoyed our meeting. It truly is a small world.
And, as far as the dues go we can take care of that. The “good standing” part will probably always be in question.

Yea, I love to have folks watching me throw the hammer. The more the merrier.
I’ll check on the mirror.
