Jon that’s great I will ask how old the resort is for sure next
    time.

    Hugh I could not agree
more. My Coach is a 93 Liberty that is 100% original paint. I was just in a friend’s
2014 sticks and staples this weekendand I would not trade my old 93 for it any
    day of the week!!!

    We would love to have
your (mature) coachat the Air and Coach Concours this November and February in
Lakeland, FL. In fact, I wrote a post that I will put up tomorrow regarding
some of our new details and updates. Check that thread tomorrow and let me know
    if you have any questions.

    By the way Miriam did
approve the (OLD) coach after seeing my pictures. I am half tempted now to show
up in an astro van with cragers, a chrome chain steering wheel and with an air
conditioner cut into the side of it.

    I’ll see you guys in
Naples in January. Does anybody need a great RV spot for the Rolex?

Make sure that you tell them you have a 99 or newer. I told them 93 and now I have to send them pictures to be approved. I already had an RV spot for the Rolex 24 Hour at Daytona the same weekend that I was going to sell. I’m glad I didn’t yet.

One of the first things the buyer of a Prevost should do is take the coach to one of the Prevost service centers and have them do a three axle alignment. While at Jeff Rowe’s shop in Tennessee I mentioned to Peter Campbell that it seemed like I was chasing the steering wheel all the time. He said it was out of alignment. We were headed to Florida. I made an appointment at Prevost Jacksonville so that on our way out of Florida we could have the alignment checked on our new to us coach with then 70,000 miles. The first thing the tech did was check the tie rods, they needed replacing and he had the parts sitting in the bay. The drive axle was WAY out of alignment. Like I think Tom posted above the tech not only got the alignment for all three axles back into the acceptable range, He got it as dead on to center as he could. Made a HUGE difference in handling. I was NO longer chasing the steering wheel. I’m sure that the tires appreciated running in property alignment.

After you watch a Prevost tech do a three axles alignment, you will NEVER take the coach anywhere else for an alignment. While there we had the shocks replaced and a few other things taken care of. Plan on two days, but if the only thing you need done is the alignment and they have the parts that will be needed, you might get done in one.

i would say that if the control box says 24 volts on the side of it, the motor would be the same.

I have a noisey pump also, but when I take it out and run it, it is so quiet I didn’t think it was working.

Beautiful coach. The maintenace/upgrade log is impressive, no one should leave home without it. The picture of the engine bay looks like it was taken as the coach came off the line at Prevost in Quebec.

Mary and I were both blown away by the quality of each session in the seminar. It was very clear that every topic addressed by Jon, Tom and Jeff was serious business with safety being the overall concern.

Thank you Jon, Tom, and Jeff and his goup of professionals and the guest experts for putting your hearts and souls into helping us all to do the right thing when it comes to enjoying and being safe with our Prevosts.

It you have not attended one of these seminars you are missing something very special.

Understand Bob. Mine says it’s heaven not having to stop and go pottie, Not to mention the eats and drink you have at any given time. The TV with the Granddaughter is awesome in itself, going down the road.

We’ve used 11 and 72 to get to and from I-75 to Vonore. Turn left on 411 from 72 and that will take you to ETLC on the left before you cross the water. The locals and frequent flyers might recommend 68 from I-75 to 411; but not knowing I’d rather stay on I-75 longer. 11 and 72 are two lanes with a little up and down and around, but its much better than the road and paths we .took when we picked up the coach at Jeff’s and got lost getting to I-75.

My XLII was a 14L and had a Jacobs brake and we had to remove the Prevost installed floor cutout to get the valve cover off. We looked at it before I pulled the interior out, and there is no way it would have come off without doing what I did.

There was no issue with my current “H”. More room and no Jacobs brake. I wonder if the 12.7 L engine is shorter? Maybe that is why Peter did not have to remove the floor plate…..

How many amps do we have on each leg when we use a 30 to 50 amp adapter? For example we carry a “Y” adapter where the short legs of the “Y” have 30 amp male ends that plug into two shore power receptacles and the long leg of the “Y” adapter has a female 50 amp end into which we plug our normal shore power cord.

correction: the adapter is actually “V” shaped, not “Y” with the 50 amp female at the bottom and the two 30 amp males at the top. I presume that gives us 30 amps on each leg.

I noticed the same thing on the trip home with our bus. The lights are next to worthless. So I bought these:

    HID Conversion

And, I tell you…. they are BRIGHT. So much so, it pretty much feels like daytime. The PO upgraded from the square style to the round ones before me so these HID lamps were a super easy change. I did put the same type of conversion in my Airstream Interstate – they have the “regular style” headlamsp and they work great there too.

There is one caveat – on our bus, when you hit the HiBeams, the new HID Low Beams turn off. And, turning HID’s on/off/on/off isn’t good. So I have to figure out how to defeat that system and get it to work so that the Low Beams are on all the time and the Hi Beams flash… so that we can signal other big vehicles out there.

For now, I plan to use the fog lights to signal… and the low beams are so bright they are actually much brighter than the High Beams so I don’t need the High Beams.

Just another, different, option here for brighter lights.
