I have to confess, I really do like the Renegade Super C, you just never know what’s coming.

I have a 1984. My key is the master electrical switch, and I have a toggle switch next to the key for starting the engine. Where are you located? Maybe someone local can spare an hour to help you get somewhat familiar with your coach.

So, after spending a week at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta (AWESOME!) we are heading to Dallas to get a new window. What a pain but at least I know we will get it done right and S&S will pay the bill. Anyone have any idea how to find an artisan who could duplicate the CC etching on the glass and do the sand blast treatment without removing the newly installed glass?
Prevost got us in and out here in Dallas with new glass that “almost” matches the tint of our other windows. It’s clearly as good as it’s going to get. Now, trying to find an artisan interested in copying the CC etching design and doing the sand blast on the glass, on the coach, that’s going to be a challenge.

Come on guys………..send me those emails or stop complaining that Michelin won’t help or support you. They are reaching out to us and very much want to help.
Consistent with that I have been communicating with Pat Meisenholder who has provided a very good technical explanation about this problem and how we as drivers can contribute greatly to its prevention. I am awaiting her permission to cut and paste what she has expressed in an email.
The short version is that the separation can be caused by certain driving practices and one of the conditions contributing was mentioned above by Jerry on 8/1. Slow or no speed sharp turns of the steering wheel contributes to the problem so it seems our sharp turns getting into campgrounds or campsites might help create the issue. It certainly makes sense to make sure we are rolling as we turn the wheels, and to the extent possible avoid full sharp turns on unforgiving hard surfaces like concrete.
At our seminar Michelin will be represented and we can have the needed discussion about this.
But please folks, if you have ever had a 365 with the type of failure we are describing send me you phone number in an email. I think Michelin wants to personally speak to every one of you, not only for customer support purposes, but to gather information about the problem.

Its important to keep the old stuff working in Wisconsin. Keep up the good work Darrell!

Unfortunately you will have to check all the microswitches on each latch individually. You have to take the backing off each bay door to do this. One of them must not be in adjustment or could be bad.
If you go around to each bay with a key and make sure the pin is fully closing does the light go out? Not a hard job just takes a lot of time but maybe you will get lucky and find it on the first door you check.

I too am having the same problem as is Thom.
I am using an I-Phone and an MacBook using Safari and FireFox browsers. Logging off and back on does not help.
Safari forces me to enter my ID and password each time while FireFox will remember my info.
Bless Jon for logging in as me. But he could not reproduce my problem, always worked for him using a PC.
Really interested in the solution.
WOW! I clicked the replay on this thread and got the enter a new thread screen. So I proceeded to enter the above info for a new thread and here it is as a reply to this thread.
So, maybe the title of the screen is misleading as I was expecting it to say “Post a new Reply”.
As long as this works, I am good to go.

Rick, weight should not be an issue. What concerns me and Jim may disagree is his use of AF-1.
The AF-1 is a great product but it relies on providing vacuum for a conventional vacuum assisted brake system Because of that very little pedal pressure is required so AF-1 uses a relatively small air cyclinder for brake application.
If your proposed toad has vacuum assisted brakes you are OK, but if the brakes are like my Hummer or Ram 2500 (diesel) both of which use hydraulic assist from the power steering pump you need a brake system that applies the brake pedal with a lot of force such as brakemaster
I telked to the makers of AF-1 about this issue and they failed to convince me they fully comprehend how much pedal effort is required on a hydraulic system (which they do not boost) compared to a vacuum system.

I just went through the same thing. do a a search for Door lock in the PC search window . we now squirt a small tube of grafite in the lock about once a month . we bought it home depot . it will be in the door lock section . we now leave a exit window unlocked every time we lock the bus up.

I presume after finding the relay was bad you can have a conversation with Prevost regarding re-installation of your old clutch or a seriously discounted price for the new one.

I can’t imagine the stress placed on the transmission, drive shaft and rear end when choosing extreme down shifting to 2nd gear for Jake brake performance even though it’s an acceptable practice by the book, it has to push rpm’s to the limit. It just seems like a harsh procedure to me.
I’ve never seen one come from the factory with a 6 speed Allison programmed for 2nd gear jake, anyone else? I’ve also never heard of one with jake action for 1st gear.
Per, what do you do when on cruise control and needing a little jake action to maintain speed?
