ANNOUNCING Start of Prevost Community POOL

I am sure that by now everyone knows that our fearless leader Tom, who has owned 7 Prevost buses, traded his H3 for a truck to match his TRUK license plate. I have not seen it, but understand it is a Diamond Rio conventional cab, but also heard it is a Marmon and someone, whom I will not name, thought it is a 4 x 3 double stick, single screw Autocar.

Anyway, it is supposed to be a single axle dually inter-city freight truck with a delivery box bed. I was advised it is a home conversion with a bean bag chair in front, a dual burner Coleman stove, a 5 gallon Igloo cooler and a hammock strung up in the back.

Since we all know that Tom never keeps a coach much more than 9-18 months, PC decided to have an office type pool. We have over 4,500 members and if everyone participates in the pool, the winner can win almost enough to buy a set of batteries from, ironically, Tom.

The pool will be to guess the exact date that Tom trades his box truck for another Prevost bus. The price is one dollar per square (date). I am sure that the pool sign up sheet will be at the West Palm Beach Prevost-Stuff show and sign up will probably be at the Lifeline Battery Booth. There you can quiz Tom about his Box Truck and maybe he can assist in your guess. I am sure that the pool sheet will be at Oysterfest in the event you are unable to attend the West Palm Prevost Show.

Good Luck on your guess PC members.

Fred, you know me well enough to know that I am not a trouble maker and would never want to throw anyone under the Bus, oh wait, he doesn’t own a Bus.

I have heard grumblings about those that have sprung for the premier camping spots at the up coming show in West Palm. They are wondering if SOBs are going to be allowed in the Prevost parking are for the show or will they have to park down the street at WalMart.

Being a vendor he may be able to park in the vendor parking area which is closer than the WalMart.

I know Jon is supposed to help with the Life Line booth but rumor has it he will have Di outside by the entrance door with a booth for all of Jon’s garden products from this past spring. You know, canned beans and peas, canned tomatoes and okra.

I have heard that this is one way for Jon to make some income due to the lack of PC dues.

My anonymous friend from ETLC has been keeping me up to date and will let me know when he gets to the show.

If there is a show special on batteries be sure and check the date codes cause out of the 22 batteries I have purchased in the last 14 years, the dealer requested my old batteries, don’t know why but I left them in Tennessee.

I’ll send a Brinks truck to West Palm with the cash for all my squares I want to buy.

I don’t know if I should be laughing or pissed. We have no vegetables to sell because due to the lack of dues money we even lick the lids on Mason jars so no food is wasted. I have no clue about parking. I just follow the leaders (Tom and Nancy)

But I do know the office pool is not going to collect much money. At the rate Tom has flipped cars, houses, buses and motorcycles the remaining time of ownership of his Super C may now be down to a couple of weeks because he is going to be where there will be a couple of hundred coaches in one spot, and a lot of them are going to be for sale or available as trade ins from dealers. If I had $1 of dues money I would sign on for 2/14.

Now that Tom has a “delivery box truck” he is better equipped to do door to door pick up of dues

Look, Someone needs to stick up for my good friend Tom and dang it… It looks like it’s left up to me. I don’t believe Tom ever has to be concerned about what he may become. He can always serve as a pitiful example!
