Got another ADB 1560 caliper rebuilt with the KIT 15001 basic rebuild kit all cleaned out new seals-piston boot-return spring- 0-rings-retainers new clay base Meritor grease, just waiting for pads for tags

I have used them on every coach and find I change air filters when I feel guilty, and not when they need it. Once I let one go long enough to get a slight movement on the indicator, but other than that it seems like every 3 or 4 years I change filters.
If I remember right DDEC adjusts fuel flow based on available intake air so unlike the old days when a dirty air filter was accompanied by black smoke the only change is a loss of power. But long before that happens you will have changed the filter.

Tom, we will be cancelling. We are still 20+ days out and it looks like the Mayor is shutting stuff down. A large part of the fun is going out and eating the fresh sea food with a group, but it looks like a no-go at this time. Jon is going just to load his freezer with sea food, so maybe we can hi-jack him on his way home, empty his freezer and have a “boil” party at Jeff’s.

HVAC techs usually force “liquid” into the system by weight with the compressor off.
With the compressor running, “liquid” can be slowly released into the system without doing any harm.
You just don’t want to “hydraulic” the compressor. -
Your speed will be slower than what the speedometer shows.
You can calculate the percentage of loss from the information Pat provided above.

Ok A1, were plumbed different. If we shut off the valve at the manifold it’s dead. Only whats in the line could leak out .
The pump feeds the manifold.

Yes. Those guys are Money! I won’t be looking for Prevost to solve any engine problems until/if I get a Volvo. I’m actually looking to go older, pre emissions series 60, no slides as we are building a place in Alaska and I want it as easily serviced as possible.

Jim , We have a xl and our cable and phone connection is also along the left side stainless box that covers the dump hose . Our manual fill is at the top left of the plumbing bay also . Tex me and I will send you a picture if you like or stop over to our spot #66 in Indio mid Dec when we arrive if you like .

To go from a 99 to an 08 (assuming and XLII) you get slides. I went from a 97 to an 06 and that was what we got. Having said that, depending on how you use your coach they may offset all the negatives. For us the extra room has changed the entire character of the coach, making it seem expansive.
But (here it comes) there is a cost. Delamination has the potential to be an issue unless the coach has the rivet repair. The coach is heavier by about 6,000 or 7,000 pounds. In addition it is going to have a degree of emissions controls that when combined with the added weight can put mileage back in the range of an 8V92.
In addition to adding weight, slides steal space. A lot of it. We had bags full of stuff taken from the 97 that were not going to fit in the 06. We lost the equivalent of the room occupied by a pantry or full height closet due to the side space around each slide used for slide mechanism. But in addition the structure for the slides stole height in the bays beneath the slide so we also lost bay space.
The heavier weight, especially on the front axle pushed us into the 365 and 315 tire sizes, instead of a single easily sourced tire. The EGR emissions controls may possibly impact engine life and it has been reported cylinder #6 has had issues as a result of shoving dirty exhaust gases back into the engine intake manifold. The EGR certainly makes the oil black instantly after an oil change.
Slides have the potential to eat money. Some owners have had expenses associated with adjustments and control box failures, some have had issues with the pneumatic control assembly and a lot of folks have used the kid’s college fund to replace slide seals.
Despite all the doom and gloom listed above it needs to be said that there is no way we would go back to a non-slide coach because that extra space is really nice. It is worth whatever downside there is.
The money lost in depreciation by stepping up to a newer slide coach is just the price of admission.
