KOA is your best bet to have 50 amp, dump and water. We have stayed there and they have some decent pull through sites. Easy in and out as well and not too far to get back to Madison.

My 1 inch impact will to, I have a 3/4 impact that I tighten up with then I use my 3/4 inch Proto torque wrench to finish, It’s a work out.

I routinely drive 600-800 mile days. It is not a problem if you plan for it. We would never get anywhere if we shut down at 6 to 8 hours. That is what I call nuts. We plan out all our trips and we are always on a schedule as my wife has limited vacation time.

I will say that not everyone should do as much as I do. Some maybe shouldn’t even drive 6 hours….or at all.

Owners have changed tire sizes on some coaches themselves so a coach that came with 315 on all locations may now have 365 on the steers or if the owner wanted spares, they were put on the tag also.

On a sharp slow speed turn the front tires distort significantly stressing the decoupling groove, and on the tag, loaded or lifted the tires is literally dragged sideways.

Michelin does not consider chunking or lost rubber as a result of a torn decoupling groove as a warranty issue and any compensation they have provided has been considered “good will”.

I had been looking at a 1997 Prevost H3-41 with frame windows but have now committed to a 1997 MCI 102D3.

It is a southern California bus with no rust and low miles on a rebuilt engine and automatic transmission. Looks like a good unit for conversion.

I may try the a mid ship closet and snake the antenna cable to a bay just ahead of the drive axle. Maybe that will work.

I would think that the device could be used on most any 120V, 20 amp air conditioner, not just roof airs.

Tom ,We used NTCS last week in Rapid City and must say the experience was much better than that of the Michelin program we used on the previous 4 in Jan . We had a small issue with my CC daily limit and Wendy was on the phone with the provider a few times even though it was close to 10pm on the East coast .

Not sure about every one else but I have a 3k daily limit which i forgot about , so if buying 4 or more be sure you have 3,200 , lol No kidding that 200 drove Michelin nuts . Thank you Wendy for all your help .

I purchased a camera and monitor from rvcams earlier this year to replace an original Sony camera and a black and white monitor. Speaking with the guy’s at rvcams was important and helped with the decision. I had to run new cable front to back, and fellow PC member Jeff McCreary, made a custom mount for the camera.

i plan to add side mounted cameras which rvcams also carries.

The Ft Worth Prevost dealer told me his pre purchase inspection would take about five hours and cost $6650.

How does that sound to everyone?

I know I can’t do it and spending $6650 could save me a lot of money, I don’t mind the charges.

He also indicated that he charges three hours labor per air bag change if needed. Does that sound normal?

We’re retired and willing to travel to find a good machine.

Well, Bernie, just like you ,I want what I want with emphasis on “I” and if I can’t get what I want from one converter I will go with the one that will give me what I want. AND THAT’S NO BULLSHIT. If I don’t want lent blowing all over my new paint job and the converter can’t figure out how to keep that from happening I will find one that will. As for what others have discussed with you in private, it is of NO use to me at all. I specifically asked if there was any one here that had any experience with Liberty and the Volta 58 volt Li system to please way -in. So far no one that HAS experience with that system has done so. I appreciate all the help you have offered and will continue to absorb all I can from you , but your own experience does non seem to entail Lithium /58 volt Volta systems whatsoever. There ARE plenty of questions you CAN assist me with as far as Prevost motorhomes though and I will take you up on your invitation to assist me Also, you never offered your email.

As far as those other people with experience in LI/volta 58 volt system I await there comments and experience. Thanks ,Mr. Bernie !

Also, I have communicated with Frank of Liberty and he was very helpful in explaining the Volta system and the way his coaches work . As I told him, I will get back with him when I am ready to pull the trigger , but first I needed to do much more research before my final decision —That’s why I posted these questions here , to get unbiased information from those using Libertys with the Volta system.

We mount hundreds of tires per year on my trucks and use Murphy’s Tire Soap. It looks like grease and apply it by hand concentrated (we do not dilute). Most tire shops dilute and spay it on. Very seldom do we break the bead and re inflate because the bead seating ring gap is not consistent but this is something everyone needs to check.
