  • Pressure Pro Sensor timeout

Posted by Joe on September 21, 2019 at 6:59 am

My second trip with the new Pressure pro FX. First trip I had a couple of sensor timeout issues but the second trip I must have had 70 on a 200 mile ride.

I installed my standard length (short) antenna at the top right corner of the street side front windshield. The worst offender was the driver side inside dual position. The outside dual and tag on the driver side also gave a couple of timeout errors.

Where are others installing the antenna on a 40ft XL? Looks like I need to move mine at least until the repeater is available.

It’s frustrating Joe I know. I’m 45’ with antenna mounted dead center front above the windshield and I have not had one single error for a year and 14,000 miles. Others have put there’s in the same place and have trouble. Don’t know if it’s electrical interference or what.

Some have had good success with a mid coach mounting and others with a rear coach mounting line of site. You may want to try those locations and just mount temporarily to see if it works better.

Pressure Pro contacted me this week and said the repeater is close to being ready. Of course we’ve been hearing this for a year, but I think it’s close.

    Hang in there…

Antenna cord was too short to get to the dead center. I could not get the cable up the center window column, or at least I don’t think so. I may try that route again. or move it to the back.

Move the FX anywhere you want, as long as you have power 12 or 24 it can be anywhere since it’s Bluetooth.

Joe, I’m having the same problem with the app saying certain sensors have timed out. I can reset the app and it works for a while and starts all over again. On our vintage of coaches it may have something to do with all extra metal that we have, that the H’s don’t have. Just a thought.

I may try the a mid ship closet and snake the antenna cable to a bay just ahead of the drive axle. Maybe that will work.

and when I hit the post since last log in button, the reply’s to this post don’t show. What gives with that?
