Best bet is to just carry spares. Just keep an eye in the door part looking for cracks.

Does anyone have ONE (1) DirecTV account with Premium Channels that they use for both their home and coach?
This works perfectly without issue. The only reason you would ever need to contact anyone at DTV is if you want to change your local Network reception. That means that if you were to travel 300-1000 miles from home (depends upon market and your location) you would lose ALL of your Network programming (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CW, PBS) but NOTHING else. If you use a Genie you would also still have all of your recorded programming available to you.
Remember that all of those Networks are available using your OTA TV antenna if you are only going to be at a location for a short period of time. Much of the rest depends upon how long you will be gone from your home market and how far you plan to travel. One option if you plan to travel say 6 months per year is to have DTV turn on the Distant Network Service where you will get either NY or LA Network programming no matter where you travel.

Hard to get to, but worth while is to replace the check valve coming from your Aux air compressor in the Gen bay Hush Box. Mounted to the top of the box on the inside toward the back on my Vantare. The hot air seems to cook those check valves. Boater Al has a post listing availability and part numbers in the archives.

WoW Jeff, As much as I want to use my words I’m suddenly struck speechless… Tom has gone rogue and it’s been a long time in coming. I know that behind the scenes Tom has been pining away and talking to Andy about a driver-less Prevost! But I think what may have thrown the boy over the hill and through the glen, is a four slide bus.

Pat, Not sure how new of a Prevost your looking for or even if a certain converter has been decided on but we have a 98 Vantare and will be in the area for the next 3 weeks . We are at Big Rig in Sturgis till Tues and then will be in Hill City till months end at Crooked Creek . Let me know if you want to stop by for a look and we can set up a time.

I’m not sure if you have self adjusting slack adjusters. If you do it is not recommended that you adjust your own, but it can be done and I have done it. Then I have my wife step on the brakes while I observe push rod travel on the brake chambers. As an alternative with the automatic slack adjusters backed off, I just left the air hose off the service brake fitting on the chamber and using shop air and a blow gun I gave repetitive shots of air to the brake chamber and watched to verify the automatic slack adjuster feature was in fact working.
Manual slack adjusters were simple to adjust so I never had to check travel because once adjusted they were right.
I used to change diaphragms, but often the flat plate that pushed on the diaphragm had enough surface rust that it wore into the diaphragm and shortened its life.

I had 2 ipad minis go out at the same time.. screen bulging… I took them to the Apple Store and they were great… replaced them both for the price of new batteries..$100 a piece if I recall correctly.. they told me to replace the batteries every two years and that the launchport wasn’t the problem.. just if they are turned on all the time the batteries should be replaced every two years.
