I use the in-motion on every trip while we drive.
I don’t know about other providers, but Direct TV has a lot of channels that are exclusively music, any vintage, any genre. I would not want to be without in motion.

No-see-um rivets is a name Tom came up with for the repairs for skin delamination in whch loose panels are re-bonded, then sealed, riveted in place, and then the rivets are covered with strips that exactly match the contour of the skin panels so no rivets are visible.
George and a number of others have had the repair and unless you are looking very hard you would never know it because the bus still looks exactly as it did when built.

I ordered a new interior lever for my 1991 when I got the little tab and looked at the price I sent it back. Over a $100.

Just to be clear, I am a lawyer, and I did not say nor imply that the Montana LLC concept is “legal.” I did not attempt to answer that question. All I said was that I think, at least in California, a business entity like an LLC can own a non-commercially registered vehicle. The question of whether the Montana LLC concept is “legal” or advisable is far more complex and nuanced than that. Not only is there much more to the question, but the answer likely varies by state, and it certainly depends on the particular circumstances of the applicant.
I do commercial litigation, not tax law, but I have corporate and tax lawyers working for my firm. I could very easily and cheaply form a Montana LLC to hold title to my bus. Still, I made the personal decision to register my bus in my own name in my own state. Others have undoubtedly gone the other way and perhaps saved many thousands of dollars in sales tax and registration fees. Still others have done so and ended up paying a steep price.
I’m not about to give general legal advice over the internet, but I will make the common sense recommendation that anyone considering the Montana LLC concept should consult their own personal attorney in their home state, not just the Montana attorney who would set up the deal. I don’t mean to question the integrity of the Montana lawyers who set up these LLCs and I was heartened to read in a post above that a Montana lawyer recommended against using this mechanism by residents of a particular state. I’m just concerned that the Montana lawyer may not be familar with the laws in all other states.
Here’s my disclaimer one more time: I don’t mind sharing the decision that I personally made, but no legal or tax advice is intended by this post.

I missed this post from Red.. Now I just want to know where Patti was during this frog business? I’ve been to Red’s and know he snuggles up with a teddy bear named Ted, I saw it, but now I’m trying to get the teddy bear & frog image out of my head. What the hell are they drinking at TGO!

Mine is like Sid’s and it is a pull type latch identified with a green label. It is under the shelf that the relays are above towards the front of the coach.

Opps…I thought you were looking at XLs. The coach at Panterra looks nice, mileage is a little high for a motorhome of that vintage, but nothing to be concerned with, if properly maintained. I really like the clean look of the XLII and other improvements. Personally, I would need reassurance it doesn’t have a delamination problem.
BTW, why a 40-footer? That is what I wass looking at, but none I would consider at the time. I’m now thankful I couldn’t find one. I feared a 45 would limit where we can stay. Although it does limit were we can stay, it has never been a issue. I’ve been from FL to AK and never faced a night without an adequate camp site.
BTW, Randy at Panterra and Brandon at Legacy are both first class guys.

Great looking bus David…
I’m right behind you, having just went through the import circus today at Port of Entry in Porland, my bus also from BC.. Customs threw a curv at us and we had to get a document faxed from Marathon, but it all worked out and no cost.
Will be heading east in another couple days.

MemberApril 24, 2014 at 9:21 pm in reply to: Stupid Bus Things I Have Done That Are Funny NowLeft one bright sunny day from home in GA heading to Myrtle Beach. Got late in the day in figured I would just stay at the KOA instead of heading all the way to the beach, we were a day early. Got out at the campground to check in and went back to unhook the toad, only to find both front tires to the cords, but still holding air. Damn, I didn’t put the switch in the right spot and the steering was locked.
Got the bus into the site and parked beside a real nice Liberty. Wonder who that is I think and while I’m parking the toad, guess who comes out of the bus? Yep, my worst nightmare, JON. Grinning like a dog, camera in hand. It was his first trip out with the new bus and I never even saw the black Hummer, that would have tipped me off.
Let the fun begin..
