Hope it is a simple fix, and does not require replacement, you have had enough fun for now. Have a good time down there. Maybe see you again at the fall rally.

Last word I heard Indiana and Oregon are a problem not yet solved.

FWIW when we lived in NY we did not buy fuel there because of the cost. So our trip planning always involved planning fuel purchases to avoid having to get fuel in the state. That was not as big of an inconvenience as it sounds because once we got in the habit we had fuel stops we used prior to entering the state or upon leaving it. A common one we used often was a Starvin Marvin (Marathon) on interstate 90 in Ohio which was less than 100 miles from home.

I think that model year coach has a household refrigerator so amonia is not likely a problem. But broken batteries such as gel or AGM can have a suphur or rotten egg smell.

    Gary,

If you and Megan have time on the way back through stop at exit 398 and we can have lunch or dinner and I can show you on my coach how I isolate leaks. Despite the ease with which I can find which circuit is leaking I can assure you chasing the specific location of the leak is significantly harder. At least you limit where to look.

I think a lot of the Prevost system air lines are blocked with a solenoid valve when you shut down. It is likely you are losing air in the house side of the aux system.

I had mine changed at Prevost Jax. They removed the whole unit, took it apart on the workbench, no problems.

    Ben,

On the subject of Trace BTS sensors. When I look at page 21, the value that gets reported through the sensor seems to be inverse to the temp. Meaning the hotter the batteries get the lower this number is, and the colder they get the higher this number gets. When I look at the temp compensated battery voltage, when they batteries are hot the temp comp voltage is higher then the actual. So it would seem they are working right, just seems strange that they are inverse to the actual temp range.

I believe when my batteries are at 105-110 degrees or so, the 21 page shows around 55. I will have to check it again this weeked.

Can you confirm that to be correct?

oh rats. We ordered a pair thru Oreillys from VDO, who made our gauge this morning. They will arrive this Friday. Prevost Elgin was trying to help us out too, but said it maybe the middle of September delivery if the order would go thru. I called them back this afternoon, to cancel order. Thanks
