Prevost salon slides are 30 inches on 1 and 2 slide coaches,some plastic coached do not have 30 inches in depth from 2 salon slides combined.

I don’t know if our window mechanisms are the same but my side window didn’t seem to be pulled tight by the mechanism. I readjusted it and it closes tighter and the small amount of noise it made while driving went away.

If your side window was on the downwind side there was likely negative outside pressure on that side of the coach compared to the pressure inside the coach. Based on the size of the window even a slight difference in the respective pressures, as little as 1/4 pound can be the equivalent of exerting as much as 100 pounds of force pushing outward on the window.

Can you adjust the mechanism to have the window pull closed a little tighter?

Jon brought up a good point, a preliminary look by a PC member in advance is an option you won’t find anywhere else due to our vast membership.

I did just that when I bought my Marathon, Brian E did a prebuy for me in Oregon that made my deal move forward and a phone purchase was done subject to my inspection as well. The Marathon was 2500 miles away from me and with Brian’s help, I knew I was good to go and wouldn’t be wasting lots of money on a bus that was a dog.

Those resources here on PC are a direct result of your annual dues….

Nice coach. I like the lack of slides, manual awnings and the pre-EPA S60 engine. We’d have definitely considered it when we were looking. Biggest concern would be potential delamination. That would be my first question to you.

We already have the list of names responsible for thread creep and a penalty of double the dues will be assessed next year.

Anyone considered or have experience with Royal Purple?

I’ve been using thier products on lighter vehicles with good results. Haven’t had a Prevost to try it on yet, but will very soon.

we are in deer park, WA now on a 40 acre horse farm, full hookups and an acre grass area all to our selves, the dog is loving it, she gets to go help feed horses this morning.

Mine are warm white, not too bright, just right. The yellow LED’s are actually white when powered up. I have an amber for porch light and the LED’s are white. Go figure…

72 ,000 miles and I had thread left, just didn’t trust them anymore. I’m not a Goodyear fan but for a 16inch tire this is the highest weight and speed rated tire made.

That is a killer Jon for 250 bucks worth of coolant would have prevented,if that engine is that rusted I bet he dosen’t get out for less than 20 grand by the time they find bad center bores that need to be redone Do your maintanice it saves big bucks in the long run

Ben, I would like to hear more details on your plans for the lithium house battery installation. Which inverter are you going to use? Which supplier of batteries and battery monitor? I met Chris and Cherie last summer and saw the technomaida approach. (Victron and GBS batteries).

I have been to the converter in Coburg and toured your coach. They do nice work.

I am in the process of converting a H3-41 tour bus and I will be buying an inverter and batteries this summer. I am still on the fence with the decision to go with lithium.
