Skyline/blueridge parkway

Bill I have ridden both the skyline drive and the blueridge parkway on a motorcycle. There are parts you could drive with a coach but definetly not the whole distance. You would be better off to park the coach and use the toad. If your interested in caverns, I would highly recommend the Luray caverns just off the parkway. Rick

my first trip with the Blue Moose was Skyline drive and Blue Ridge from DC to Asheville. Parking was fine but I will warn you, Skyline is very tight with lots of cyclists and can get hairy if a bus comes the other way. We averaged 4mpg on the way down as well. We drive it often in the car. Gorgeous

Bill if you decide to do this trip I am at milepost 163 on the Parkway, have 50amp water and sewer 200′ off the Parkway you would be welcome We will be in Branson in mid October let me know and I will give you details, I am about 45miles south of Roanoke, Gary

thank you very much but we decided to go farther up north and pass on the parkway.
