Chassis lube
I know this has been discussed but the search function being limited to words in the title is not getting me there.
da BOOK says to lube the chassis with Molybdenum disulphide grease. My local NAPA store only has lithum based grease.
Is a good grade Li grease acceptable or do I need to search out the moly based?

Answered myself.
Da Owners manual says Mo disulphide.
Da Maintenence manual says ” good quality Li -base grease NLGI no 2″
that makes sense, back to NAPA I go.

I believe more important that the specific type is regular, proper lubing of all joints.
Far too often we see owners say they will take in their coach for its annual maintenance, when in fact lubing is required every 6200 miles. I’ll bet nobody loses sleep over that, but if they went double the recommended miles on an oil change that would be a different story, so why abuse the greased joints like that? Especially if the kid with the grease gun gets paid by the pound and overgreases until the rubber boods fail.

Anyone considered or have experience with Royal Purple?
I’ve been using thier products on lighter vehicles with good results. Haven’t had a Prevost to try it on yet, but will very soon.
