We use our coach from just after Christmas to sometime in November. First part of the year we spend down south and we work from late May til November sometime up north. Go to our house for Christmas then head south again. I often question my wife as to why we keep our house in Wisconsin. Awful expensive to keep to store our crap and stay there 1 month a year and occasional weekends during the summer.

Tad and I talked by phone and he found his leak in the engine compartment. The engine compressor can probably keep up Tad, but you want to check while sitting still and see how often the compressor has to cycle. You’ll hear the air dryer purge each time the compressor cycles, then watch your aux gauge to see how fast it drops. You don’t want to be on the road with a leak large enough to keep the engine compressor constantly cycling, it could get worse.

Is there such a bus configuration of OTR, and Roof Airs. How much bay space does OTR take up.
would that be an option to have full coach comfort when driving, and also keep bay space by going with roof airs.
Do roof airs equal bay space and simplicity of maintenance & repair. -
Jon, I totally agree. Very first long trip with my bus the water pump burned-out and I thought “no worries, just hook-up a hose and use park water pressure”. Well turns out the prior owner stubbed-off the plumbing behind the panel. Had to push water backwards through the water softener to save the trip.
Post-Script on the inverter story:
I spoke with a super freindly guy at “Inverter Service” and he said when they repair inverters they try to install a terminal strip so that folks don’t use wire nuts.
I mentioned I wasn’t crazy seeing that the other end of the 110V wires attached to the circuit board with spade connectors. He said, yes those can work lose over time as well.

T&C, just didn’t want to waste a lot of typing if you were going to be there. We loved our CC which was a non-slide side aisle coach…very liveable floor plan on a non-slide. CC are fairly simple and staightforward coaches, a step up from a Royale as far as bells and whistles go. Other than the Compu Dash there is little out of the normal as far as systems are concerned. Their OTR ac actually works very well (Marathon used a similar system) and we were never warm either in Fla or out west in triple digits. It may be considered an “orphan” but there is plenty of knowledge and support out the there and no problems getting repairs or service. Have HWH slide on our present bus and they have been trouble free plus it’s only about 9000 to re-seal instead of 3500 to 45000. Geo.

Yes,
The jump start on the left panel will get you going. It uses the house batteries.

Ditto what Tom said . looks much cleaner and sleeker. Good job.

PBG,
We are enjoying the new coach thoroughly! It would be great if you could join us at Terra Bella and talk to all of the Prevost owners. This will be our first ‘no rally rally’ (or any rally), looking forward to it.
Maybe our paths will cross one day!
Safe travels,

Amadas Coach bought all the records for Vantare years ago and they had all the build sheets wiring diagrams on our 98 Vantare and were very helpful… they sent me all the records on our coach free of charge… emailed them all as pdf. files… Try calling them… they were so helpful.
The girl I dealt with was Shannon Adams Woodward, 757-925-2862. I believe it is a separate division of Featherlite.

Uh, oh. Tom is our accountant.
Greg, you may be on to something. I wondered how he planned on buying that 4 slide coach for Nancy.

The Prevost emblem on the front cap has cracks at all corners on my H as well as the bay doors. I guess that might be unrelated to the bay door issue, but it is going to have to be addressed. The cracks are wide enough to allow moisture to enter. Not sure how to access the back side of the emblem but will figure it out., it will need to be removed to repair the glass and repainted.
