One unit above driver seat, one unit behind fridge, one unit under stove between closet and drawers, one unit above engine behind bed. This is depending on your converter I assume. These are the EBS16S’s.

No issues… Just returned from Arizona trip and pumped nearly $900 at two different locations. Even called them in advance to inquire if any limits have been imposed and as of 30 or so days ago, they stated no policy changes…

Thanks, Mike. Different setup than mine, but that’s the concept. I removed the air tensioner today, so now I just have to get the parts ordered.

Art that is incredible fuel economy!

While I agree with Jon on the overall impact, my analytical brain is trying to figure out how you’re getting that.

My XL40 loaded weighs almost 44K and we are pulling a 5K van. So total weight almost 49K. Driving OK to FL Keys and back (relatively flat), speeds mostly 63-67 (1600-1700 rpm range) with small amount of 70 mph my avg MPG is 7.3.

Curious if a few more thousand #’s and slightly more RPM/speed can make nearly 2mpg difference? Or something else.

I’ve never tried to find it published, but seems I heard the torque peak of Series 60 was around 1600 RPM. That may not be correct.

My coach has now been sitting for 5 months (and has been stored for 16 years in this manner for up to 5 months at a stretch) on 110v, 15 amp.

My procedure is to set the inverter charging to max 5 amp each and turn on the gen auto start on case of power loss, water pump off. As far as I know, the gen has never had to come on. Whenever I visit, I check voltages and cycle the water pump, sometimes as long as a month goes bye.

Obviously, I am not in freezing temps, the refrigerator stays on and I have never tripped the 15 amp breaker except by accident in one case where an a/c unit was on when I plugged in.

Why would anyone go to a Buckees when it is obvious they don’t want large rigs as customers? If taking on 150 gallons is a slow painful process with multiple pump resets or the need to bring cash or credit card into the fuel desk, screw that. There are a lot of places that want our business and make it easy to spend our money there.

I’m trying to grasp everything you guys have checked but there are 3 transmission sensors on the B400 which I think he has.

These faults don’t show up in error codes and act as you describe. I changed all 3 of mine and had a no shift problem. Mind you with these issues no 2 are alike only having like fault characteristics.

Until I reached on top of the trans and played with the harness going into 1 of the sensors did we solve the problem. Then rewired the harness. This was on an 06 chassis.

We have conventional power steering on our 2013 Jeep Wrangle Rubicon. No issues since new. I guess we won’t be upgrading to the newer Jeeps.

The original death wobble, not uncommon in Jeeps, is primarily caused by owner modifications (4+ inch lifts, steering geometry changes etc) and wear. If you leave your Jeep in factory configuration, you’ll be fine. The electronic power steering is a new wrinkle.

I could go with the Cuban cigar smokin’ and scotch drinking, too. Count me in. OpusX and a GlenLivet 18, 21, or 24 would suit me just fine.

The only autograph I intend to make is an endorsement on the back of the check for my half of the dues.

There is a virtual flood of Li batteries coming to market at lower and lower prices. Very hard to compare from the specs provided by the seller which may simply be based on the cell specs and not the as built specs. The battery management system is a critical component that is especially hard to compare from just listed specs. Many of these new to market Li batteries are now advertising 300 amp hour capacities but 200 amp MBSs suggesting the internal wiring and connectors are not really capable of supporting the charge or discharge current suggested by the 300 amp hour capacity rating. Stated energy density (capacity per unit of weight) is all over the map.

the only way to really compare different Li batteries is to do repeated capacity tests, discharge and recharge tests, and then tear them open to see how they are actually constructed, what size the internal interconnect cables and terminals are, and how robust the BMS is inside. Even then you really don’t know much about the cells used other than what you can test.

my experience says buy from a known supplier with physical warehousing in the USA or Canada who is financially capable of standing behind their warrantee. A long warrantee does you no good if the supplier is here today and gone tomorrow or if they refer you to the “manufacturer” for warrantee fulfillment.

The batteries are three years old they are Interstate Batteries and show good voltage on the heart interface. they are so hard to get to to check them I wish they were on a slide so you could pull them out.

I prefer high wings too, but I do have two low wings. I guess that I just like airplanes.
