Coach will not start
The coach started up fine two days ago. Went to start it up today to leave on a trip and nothing, not even a click. Batteries are fully charged. None of the usual dash lights or accessories are working. Typically when I turn the ignition to start the dash lights up and the engine turns over. Nothing today. I have been advised that it might be a faulty ignition relay. I have no idea where to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure the 12 and 24 volt Shutoff switches are on?

Yes. Both switches on.

- Michael not really sure how your coach is set up but the relays should be located near the house batteries,,or in the area of your inverters . Hope this might help.

Does your coach have the chassis battery disconnect switch on the dash?
Have you checked the manual start switch in the engine compartment?

No shut off switch on dash. Only chassis battery shut off switch I am aware of is a toggle switch on the panel to the right and above the chassis batteries inside the side engine compartment door.
I did check the rear start switch and get nothing, not even a click.

Hi Michael, Check your batter connections. When I changed out my batteries, I didn’t make a great connection on the bolts for the battery terminals and one was just slightly loose enough to not make a connection, so the bus acted like it was dead… i.e. no nothing on the dash and no turn over. I cleaned and tightened the terminals and WOW it worked just like new.

When you turn the key to the on position, does anything register on voltage gauge on the dash? Does the needle move?

Have you looked on Prevost website and got your wiring schematics for your coach, Here is mine it shows where your power comes from. Top Left corner shows master switch (key) batt comes from top right 24v power from RR rear junction box CB 10 follow it. Yours is newer, I’m sure it’s different look yours up. If CB10 is tripped mine would not start.
