Tom – Using an HP with that wonderful, new and improved
Windows 10 that almost limits you to their Microsoft Edge (New and improved
    Explorer).
    I also use Chrome and
Firefox, but Firefox has given me problems with Windows 10 while Chrome seems
    to do OK.

BTW, my use of “New and Improved” is complete and total
    sarcasm.

In all seriousness, its appropriate to debunk a cruel disgusting rumor that persists about Prevost motorhomes, entertainer coaches, and seated coaches equiped with toilets, holding tanks, and macerators.

There are nagging, persistent stories that drivers of the above three types of Prevost coaches have been known to drive very slowly down deserted, narrow country roads in desolate areas of our country while using the macerator to empty the holding tank into the ditch. There is no credible evidence whatsoever that this has ever happened. These unfounded rumors have been traced back to very late night campfire Prevost owner bashing in the sticks & staples corner of some RV parks where its believed considerable amounts of alcohol had been consumed.

That said, there is a single documented case of an entertainer coach (chassis manufacturer unknown) having an ill-timed malfunction of the holding tank dump valve while crossing the Kinzie Street Bridge over the Chicago River just as the Chicago River architecture tour boat passed under the bridge.

Checked today. The DD people reported they test drove the coach again and surprise, it was fine (even though all they had done was bypass a heater air valve in the dash that Jeff had told them could not be the problem). They called Jeff who went and drove it with them and he again showed it was not fine and was spilling coolant. Jeff and I discussed moving it to Prevost but, surprise, Prevost does not service DD anymore since everything is now Volvo. The shop they use can’t get to it for at least 2 weeks. So now finally the current DD shop is pulling the engine Tuesday to check the head, gasket etc.

This is has been a nightmare (First started 5/31). Thank god I have Jeff to help deal with these idiots. Otherwise I would be at their mercy and may have driven the coach and done more damage to it. Can’t wait to argue over the bill for diagnosis and the test drives (4 or 5) that they said were normal as coolant spilled out rather liberally. Hopefully we will find out next week what the actual issue is and get it fixed post haste. I have a trip out west 9/1 that I have been planning for almost a year. Makes me nervous that either the coach won’t be fixed, they will tear up some of the conversion equipment or it will be unreliable.

Maybe PC can start to compile a list of regional service centers that have been used by members and found to be tops in service and support; especially now that Prevost does not service our coaches that have DD engines. If there already is one I have missed it.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Answers hopefully to come next week.

I think your vintage will have a fuse on the bottom of the equalizer. Worth checking. The light should indicate a balance problem.

Your 12 volt does handle coach lighting, but the most critical function is DDEC.

I have a Liberty……It doesn’t need to have any work done. Jon. Just another reason we can’t wait to get our Liberty….besides the rose petals and honeysuckle. Geo.

I’ve dealt with Steve at IBP for years. Great folks down there! He told me they could easily match my Vulcan rub rail covers. Just need to send them a sample to copy.
