Those are the wheels used with a 365. I see two different purposes pictured. The rim with the black in the center is only going to minimize the chance a failed tire will drop into the center of the wheel, and thus it will more than likely keep the tire in place on the wheel.
The orange device however looks like it will not only do that, but it will also support the wheel and tire after a blowout so there is less chance of a loss of control situation.
As the video Al has posted every month has demonstrated if we do get a blowout the use of the proper procedure keeps the coach under control until it can be moved to a safe stopping spot.
I don’t think either device will be a help in the event of a failure such as a zipper failure in which the tire literally comes apart as it fails. At that point the tire casing is in pieces and apart from control issues, that type of failure has the potential to do a lot of damage to the coach.

I have At&t and I installed a We-Boost (RV version) on the bus and it increased my coverage by two bars. An easy solution to getting better coverage wherever you go and whatever provider you may have.

While cleaning last weekend the old batteries went completely to zero. I had no lights on the interior at all. So I installed these new batteries.
With the new batteries I have lights through. Normal action is for the microwave and fridge to turn on last. Microwave comes on no issue. Fridge does not come on.
I need for the system control panel (scp) to come on in order to change the battery type to AGM, and to check the other settings.

Marathon has a floor plan with bunks and a bath and a half. Take a look at Marathon Coach 1249 which is listed on the Coaches For Sale section of Prevost Community. It is a 2017 Marathon H3 with bunks and a bath and a half.

Jon, Thank you for the response . I will definitely do as you suggest . Now let me ask you, on a Non Slide XL do we have some room to add more weight being the coach does not have a slide ? I figure the slide that was cut into a XL shell of the 90 s must weigh more than my 800 lb tool box. Now why I have a 800 lb tool box when all I really use is my 2 ounce visa is another question . I guess i just like shinny tool and maybe one day have them for someone who uses them 🙂

Thank you all for your replies! The electric water heater still works, yet does not seem to supply as much hot water as early on this our first adventure. And, I do not believe it is a case of the cold water supply being frigid. I will check to see if this unit has two elements as perhaps one is no longer working. Thank you!

I’m comfortable talking about Liberty conversions and any other conversions are not in my wheelhouse. I am guessing however that if you do not have shore or generator power and the inverter is not “on” you shouldn’t see any readout on your panel.

I had no idea it used engine oil. That is good news because its not using any oil between stops.

You should be able to unhook the the air valve linkage and manually close the valve Diane.

Back in the 70s my dad rented a 26′ GMC for our family summer vacation. When we got home he liked it so much he bought one. 26′ GMC Royale, 455 Olds, 3 speed automatic TurboHydromatic 425 frt transaxle, same as Olds Toronado.
Cost of fuel was of little concern back then.
A neighbor/friend of mine sold his 26′ GMC a yr ago because he never used it. He gave me the ZipDee awning off it to put on my race trailer.

Put about a gallon of hot water from a house faucet into a five gallon bucket and set the keg of Freon in it and charge via gas. Even if you just want to speed up the flow, this will help.

Jon, I will take that as an invite! The 1-way dirt road up to the Asheville campground was pretty scary especially on my first trip with the bus.

It‘s boondocking. No services at all.
But for the price, you can not beat it if you are in town for just a couple of days.
We have a window of opportunity in Mid-July and may give this a try.

Same here. Fuel and water tanks full before I leave. You never know what is going to happen and if you will need one or both.
