Does the club still offer a NAPA fleet discount card? They told me my old one has expired.

Country Coach generator fuel line. The rubber fuel line to my generator is showing disturbing cracks. Any info on how CC routed these lines to the fuel tank?
My lines disapear through the ceiling of the genny compartment.

Been there done that, pull your compartment walls out, the lines go right over to the top of the fuel tank.

Replacing my old Atwood wayer heaters and cleaning up plumbing. Advice appreciated:
1. On today’s new coaches – what is state of the art for water pumps? Variable speed? What models? Quiet?
2. If variable speed – do i still need a pressure/expansion tank?
3. Do the new Atwoods need check valves?
Thanks!

Big fan of Headhunter Mock 5 pumps, yes they are expensive. As most know I have been running various yachts for years, the vast majority have the Headhunter pumps on them that are providing water for showers, sinks, toilets, & washing machines, often providing water PSI to multiple items at the same time without loss of pressure or volume. I…

My Country coach has 2 Shurflo pumps in parallel with an expansion tank. Never had an issue. One nice addition i made is installing a thermostatic mixer for the shower.

Kubota Gen Air Filter
On a standard Kubota engine, the air filter sits directly on top of the engine. On mine, Country Coach installed an adapter pipe to shove the stock air cleaner back into the middle of the bay where the gen starter battery is mounted.
A huge pain to change filters. Any clue why they would do this? Its not a cheap adaptet.

Mine is a similar setup, I have a panel in bay 1 back wall that I remove, 2 clips and the housing exposes the filter. Takes me longer to clear the bay out than it does to change the air filter.

Yes, it is a PITA to change. I am assuming they wanted to draw air from over the floor vent – but why not keep the stock location and lust add an extension to the inlet like cars have?

Country Coach Atwood Water Heater Replacement
Thanks, that makes sense. I think my current setup has check valves on both sides. I did read that is bad if the pressure valve fails so a 2nd tank is installed.
Plan to just install one on the hot side and one 5gal pressure tank on the cold side.

Country Coach Atwood Water Heater Replacement
My two cubes are toast and in the process of installing new ones. I remember in the old forum seeing nice pics of a few of you replacing them. Can’t remember who. Couple questions:
1. If I close both gate valves in the engine compartment, that preserves coolant for running the engine – correct?
2. How much coolant will I have to catch when I…

In the last two years, numerous efficient and QUIET roof air units have been introduced. Has anyone done the research on any models that are direct replacements (ducting lines up)?
