1) Shortened 50DN 12v alternator wire because it was “melted”. It actually was not melted. A portion of the sheathing turned to mush, probably from having 20 or so years of oil dripping on it.
2) Replaced 1 generator air bag, and for the moment, I don’t think I have any aux leaks!
3) Working on a complete inverter change (w/ 48v lithium), but that’s going to need a dedicated post.

Turns out, despite it being a T/A, it is considered “Out of Network” and I actually got charged an additional $10 instead of getting any kind of a discount.
I guess T/A , Petro is not really T/A Petro when it comes to this service.

There is an on/off switch disconnecting power from the breaker next to the in/out rocker switch in the water bay. I used to just leave that switch always on.

Man, I have thought about searching for some type of rearview mirror for 14 years! I could never figure out the mounting. Thank you for the links. They sent me down an Amazon rabbit hole. I kind of like this one for mounting possibilities.

My back brake pads are half the size of the front. I did assume because my JEEP GC is heaver in the front because of the diesel Eng was the reason for the large brakes and they (the front brakes) would wear more.

I would find leak maybe only one are two leaks my marathon had all push in fittings mine was leak on push in at morgen take off fender you can check several on h model

IBP is the source one can trust. Need a picture so can advise on parts needed. I would request new from insurance company unless they can provide a exact match. Example : polished vs satin finish. Exact spacing of ribs on sheet stainless. etc. I have a pair of rear doors for your coach With vented area. used shipping is killer. If your frames are good would reskin. Good luck! Bob

Isn’t a single 320 amp Lithium a little light for your coach? If you had 4 Lifelines that would be 1020 amps at 50% or 510 amp hrs usable. Lithionics was a good choice.

A temperature sensing TPMS will reveal a dragging brake, but not a locked brake.
The bus is completely insensitive to the extra load imposed by a toad with locked brakes. I pulled a 6700 pound H2 Hummer with the parking brake engaged 1/4 mile before the smoke and squealing of tires tipped me off something was wrong.
It went up through the gears as if there was nothing behind it.
But as to remarks supplemental braking is not required even when towing a heavy vehicle think again. Our brakes suck and adding to the lousy brakes is allowing a heavy vehicle with no braking to push the bus as it tries to stop. That provides a plaintiff’s attorney loads of ammunition to extract large dollars from you if you ever rear end a car.

Andrew, how do you know your bus is the problem? It could be the Campground pole. I have stayed at many campgrounds with too many campers on one breaker. The other issues i see a lot of now is busses not acting nice with GFI receptacles on the pole.

Thanks Mike, that is exactly what I needed to know. Perhaps it was just more cost effective to stock one less cable size and run 2.

We use our OTR ac a lot, because we live in TX, and use the bus mainly in the warmer months.
I checked my records. It’s been almost 6.5 yrs and 32,000 miles since I installed new OTR compressor belts.The air regulator on our bus is set at 52 psi. This yr I replaced our tensioner mini airbags for the first time because they were old and leaked a little when the bus wasn’t running. I’ve replaced the bearing in the 2 OTR idlers in the last couple of yrs just because they were old.But, thanks for reminding me, I just ordered new belts, even though the current ones look okay.
