Where can I find the rear bumper, PS bumper corner
Yesterday at 4:30am a high speed hit and run driver smashed into and broke a utility pole near where we park our bus, then glanced off and hit the rear PS corner of my 40′ rivet bus badly denting the rear bumper center section, the PS end section, the PS rear engine access door, the PS rear side engine access door and the PS tail light surround. Do any of you know where I can source those parts or anywhere close to southern Oregon where the proper work can be done? The Folks at Oregon Motor Coach Center in Eugene, OR, can’t get to it until Nov or Dec and we leave for our winter place in Yuma in late Sept so I will likely have to just swap parts until we return next summer to have the repairs done correctly.
The people in the car fared even less well than the bus. Air bags deployed and someone’s head hit the windshield leaving behind long strands of hair stuck to the broken glass. Whoever was in there grabbed what they could of Id papers and ran. The plates are valid through Jan but the registered owner said they sold the car in 2021 to someone who did not register it in their name. It may have been sold one or more times since then, too. The police have an idea as to who might have been driving and who might have been the passenger based on a name on a gambling card found inside the vehicle. They recognized the name but thought that person was still in jail. Turns out they were released a few weeks ago. That officer was just last week at the home of a female associated with that name. I wonder if she has bad head injuries…….
