Thanks, Jon, Jeff, and Don for your responses. My intent is to keep this coach maybe another two to three years and then into a newer one as Tammie retires and we go on the road for a month or two at a time. However, if I find a newer coach I really like ( up to and including year to 2000), I might go sooner.

Jon, I am talking about Transmission fluid service.

The WW Williams person said “Drain, Flush, Fill” for the coolant system, and mentioned bubbles/burps a few times.

I had not thought about changing to Transynd but I have read on the forums that it is a good choice for consideration when doing a transmission service.

Sorry, genny is a 20kw Marathon powered with a Kubota turbo… I think its 2.3L.

Radiator is mid ship behind the front axle and draws cooling air from the front axle void. The cruise airs are in front of the front axle and rear unit also draws its cooling air from the void area of the front axle.

The radiator and cruise airs both exhaust their heat out the bottom of the coach.

Correct me if I am wrong, the research I have done is showing a shot gun with no less than a 18.5″ barrel and no less than an overall length of 26″ is legal. Have used these in confined spaces when in the Coast Guard and feel comfortable with them.

I had a guy replace mine with some rubber floor runner material I had on hand from Home Depot. He replaces a lot of them and said it’ll work fine.

1) No red hoses, they’re all blue. I believe they should be red in front of the charge air cooler.

2) I became aware of recall 06C-4 in March 2019 and researched it then, and concluded based on the wiring harness that it had already been done. BUT did not find the obligatory sticker on the valve cover that it was. So will call Detroit and see if they can look up my serial number and determine

Shop manager called this afternoon. Recored radiator back. Tech putting in. Hopefully we’ll be on the road late tomorrow.

I have not had a Roadmaster, but my BlueOx stuff has been bulletproof. I have towed Tahoes, a F150 Super Crew, and a Jeep and the only issue I ever had was that the older tow bars would sometimes lock up a bit if you were crooked when you tried to unhook. The new bar does not have that problem.

In reality, both should do the job. I guess get what you like the best.

That’s good information Don! I always make sure the belts are tight when I start mine also. My panel looks a little different than yours. My light rocker switches are on top and run across those other switches you were pointing to in the picture. Everything works on that inverter side so I’m assuming that’s ok. Is the compressor located under the drivers seat? I have a door there I can’t open right now. Tried to open it and the lock screwed up and now I can’t get the key out. That is where the clicking is coming from when I turn the switch on the panel on. There doesn’t seem to have any air in the system so I think it’s calling for air. That’s a good idea with the air gage on the dash! Did you get a split gage for the brake air and replace the other gage with one for the aux. compressor?

Als0 check for nails glass etc. under the tires and this check for pulled pins or just use locks. I know from first hand experience. When you stop to shop during the day check all the same things again.
