Either way He’ll have bragging rights. The KC Boys have a Texas Born (Tyler Tx.) Texas Tech QB running the show up there. Even though I’m sitting in middle of Texas I think the KC Kid will pull it off. Should be a good un.

Mahomes played high school football and baseball at Whitehouse High School in Whitehouse,TX. Whitehouse is a bedroom community 10 miles Southeast of Tyler.

After the first quarter, I think we all thought the Texans could win. And then it all changed. Wow.

Al, I didn’t see this until this morning. The result was as I anticipated. The first quarter was not. I was watching the game at the end of the first quarter and had flashbacks to the 1993 playoff game with the Bills where the Oilers were up 35-3 in the third quarter and lost the game and told my youngest son about that debacle. Unfortunately, the flashbacks were prophetic. Congratulations to the Chiefs.

I watched the game with my parents. When we saw Mahomes give his pep talk on the sideline, down 24-0, my mom said, “I predict we’ll be leading at halftime.” I might ask her for some stock tips today.

And the Super Bowl I trophy sits exactly where God intended it to!

Along with the Green Bay Packers other twelve (12) NFL championship trophies.

We’re also hoping for a Packers/Chiefs Superbowl. Originally being from Kansas, I love my Chiefs, but living in Wisconsin for 20+ years I love the Packers too!

I want the Chiefs to win, they’re long overdue!!

My family has only been in Tennessee for a little over 200 years…

As far as the season goes…. we are thrilled. If it ends soon, it still is a pleasant surprise. I think a lot of people have lost a bunch of $$$’s betting on the favorites.

As far as Jon goes… well, he’s not from around here.
