    Following…

I used to think fresh water auto fill was silly. Then spent 13 weeks at Raleigh Fairgrounds it was quite nice to run laundry, dishwasher, etc without worrying if water tank had capacity.

Then it stopped working. Seems like a valve on the auto fill inlet is clogged.

In January of 2020 we had a similar failure to what you describe. Black dash and blown 5 amp fuse. i traced the short to the dimverter board behind the dash. The main component on the dimverter board was manufactured by Endicott Research Group. Endicott had a replacement part (R202243 – 10 lamp dc to ac inverter) as the original part had been superceded. After receiving it I desoldered the old one and soldered in the new one. We have driven about 25,000 miles since then and the dash display has worked perfectly.

ATF fluid is still Mobil Delvac Synthetic TES295. Fluid has 19,500 miles and 21 mths since new. Trans has 113,700 miles since new and works great. No complaints. I didn’t change the fluid or filters this time. They are still good to go.

We’ve owned the bus for 9+ yrs and have put 45k miles on it. We’ve changed the fluid twice, 6/7/14 and 8/2/21, with Allison approved TES295 Mobil Delvac synthetic atf and Allison filters.

    Don,

Do you have access to a small tractor with a front loader? I slide it out on to the edge of the loader on a piece of plywood as a “bridge”. I used several ratchet straps to slowly (and securely) slide it out. I can send you pics if you want. You are right it is very heavy.

Thanks Don, I was thinking the parking brake but it’s set. Guess I’ll wait until it does it again and play around with the brake and see what happens. Sometimes it goes on/off and sounds weird like it’s a loose wire.

When you trn on the switch check to see if check engine and stop engine come on and then go off. If the ecm isn’t getting both lights the ecm isn’t getting voltage.

Replaced all tires on the coach this spring, 4×365 and 4×315 at Prevost /Orlando.

Prevost do not honor the Michelin program discount…all tires were available for installation.
