You see those little red buttons on the ends? Those are the manual actuators, push them in one side at a time and see if anything happens.

40 or 45’…open the valve in the steering bay to join conversion aux. air with coach air. Then see if the bed will lift. As for the Aux. Compressor, look in the back of the steering compartment, if you don’t see a compressor, then it is mid coach behind the entertainment cabinet like mine.

That valve receives its air from the aux air system. Unless you have added an aux system pressure gauge (Liberty didn’t) you don’t know if it’s getting any air or how much. The 2 pressures you see are for primary and secondary brake tanks, not the aux tank.

The Libertys I know of do NOT have any valve that connects converter air to Prevost air.

I will have to look in the steering compartment. I pulled the entertainment center in bay 2 and no air compressor. I can pick up the bed no issues, it pushes air out of that valve. My guess is that my aux air is not working, I just need to find it. I spent some time in the front compartment fixing air leaks. I didn’t see a compressor but there is a line into a boxed in area behind the cruise airs, it might be there. I gain access to the box under the coach.

If yours is like mine? your 120vac aux air compressor lives in a box in the front, behind the bumper, behind the CruiseAir against the back bulkhead. Access is from under the bus. There is a removeable panel.

6/20/14: Removed the original noisy Gast brand aux air 120vac compressor. Installed a new quieter 120vac aux air compressor made by California Air Tools, model MP100. Built and installed a new box for it to live in.

Well this place is great. I also post on facebook, but I spoke to don today.

While running around the coach we checked the psi switch that triggers the air compressor to work. I pushed the points down and it caused the air compressor to turn on.

Ill be ordering a new switch and also putting in a pressure gauge. I also will put a quick connect so shop air can be plugged in so I can check for leaks.

Well this is getting fun.

Replaced aux pressure sensor, confirmed it worked. Pressure gauge worked also. I was tracking down the leak on the aux compressor and opened up access panel and found the fan to the aux

compressor no longer connected

My friend has a new mcintire laying around, going to install that in the next few weeks. It does max 50psi, I think that will be enough.

Installed air compressor yesterday and it would only do about 80psi. Then it kept blowing the pressure relief valve.

I am going to try to limit the pressure at the switch today.

Also no air making it back to my air bags, not sure i am getting much pressure to the tank since i lost the 80psi really quickly
