Thanks , did you feel that they did a good job. I talked to them today and there is no comparison to what Prevost will charge.

Well said Jon, I absolutely concur. Looking at reviews/comments on products or vendors should be no different that those we look at on Amazon or TripAdvisor. Probably disregard the over the top glowing or dreadfully bad ones and look at what the majority are saying. Only way to get a rounded view is to see as many comments/reviews as possible. This is especially important to someone like myself who doesn’t have experience of any of the relevant suppliers so others’ experiences are critical.

Just looked at my dip stick and the low mark says “add”, while the top line says “full”. So does that equal cold and hot? Or should I add some. The level is at the add line and its cold – sittin in Calgary a week.

P C advertiser Xtreme Graphics has the headlight upgrade available. Completely made ready to install and available with painted frame to match plus exact Prevost plug- in.

Xtreme was very competitive with other vendors offering this upgrade.

Bottom of there face page under headlight conversions.

We stayed there a few years ago because it’s right next door to a Monaco dealer. It’s a nice park but it’s in Mississippi. If that works for you, then it’s OK.

    Safe travels.

If the valves are shut over the HW tank you get no heating from engine coolant. If they are cracked open or fully open the max HW temp is the engine coolant temps or about 200 degrees.

Since the shower has a pressure balancing / thermostatic valve it is a huge advantage to have scalding water in the HW tank because it takes a whole lot less hot water to get a comfortable water temp for the shower.

But if you have hot water tank temps based on electric heat only it will take more of the HW tank contents to warm up the cold water. So the dilemma is establishing an operating temp for the HW that is best for your purposes.

But I question how with only 2 showers how you could deplete 22 gallons of hot water. Was the HW tank heater on? If you had no hot water after 2 showers were taken maybe you need to have a chat with the kids.

I wouldn’t switch prior to having issues with your Delco. In my case, I went through 3 in 2 years. Can’t remember what happened to my oem at about 125,000. Replaced with new Delco which literally fell apart (bolts holding both halves loosened and broke on road—could have lost the engine due to oil loss) and then a reman which leaked. Had enough of an antiquated design and/or terrible quality control.

P.S. Although it’s probably not a bad idea to check the bolts holding the case halves together occasionally to avoid buying a new series 60!
