You will lose a lot of freon if you don’t block off the compressor and you cannot put oil in if freon is rushing out.

The seat is going to rise when you get off of it because the air bladder is pressurized to handle the weight of a person. So when you get up from the seat the pressure that held your weight makes the seat rise until some air pressure can be exhausted allowing it to return to the correct height.

When you sit back down that lower air pressure will not support your weight so it will sink, but then it should rise as air enters the bladder to restore the seat position to the correct height.

I do not know when this started, but later model coaches have the seat air supply on a solenoid valve controlled manifold so the seat will not air up without the key being on and chassis aux pressure at normal levels.

and this has been sort of confirmed, already.

A friend of mine bought a new to him RV, recently, and since he was going on a 6 weeks trip, he decided to replace all the 6 tires just to be safe.

This decision was influenced in part by the really great deal he was offered by a tire dealer. In Largo, FL.

Before the trip was over, he had blow outs on 4 of the 6 tires!!!

Fortunately, other than having to buy new tires, there was no damage to his RV.

He bought the replacement tires at Camping World and they confirmed that he had been sold bad tires.

Needless to say, the tires he got in Largo were made in China and now the dealer does refuse to accept any responsibility.

Now, he regrets having been sucked in by the great deal he thought he was getting and volunteered to say that he knows now that you often times “get what you pay for”.

    Jimmy,

I would suggest you use a pair of channel locks and gently grip the very bottom of the sensor just below the line that separates the top from the bottom and try to remove. That line is where the two pieces of the sensor are assembled. Hopefully it will come off without damage.

How would you like to have been a Newell owner during the financial slowdown when Newell sold out its inventory of coaches at $ 999,000 and then stopped producing?

I have had both types and will stick with Prevost.

Don’t see what the spider problem is but have I have heard with Sewer Bugs and Spiders, “Fire” is the only solution.

We had a similar problem last year in the Grand Canyon. The tube that goes into the tanks comes from a device on top of the tank, is an air tube and it measures pressure. If the O-rings are like Tom, old and dry, they must be replaced. They are commonly found at home repair centers. There are several, maybe 5-6, but disassembly and repair is pretty quick and easy. Calibration wouldn’t do anything until this is done, and I never had to calibrate.

I have never heard of that type of wall and wonder what the purpose is/was.

Hope that you find the fix.

I know where that little black box is, but one tech at Marathon told me that is just the sub-computer to the main system. I did unplug the “tech link out” cable and the monitor went blank but it did not reset the computer. May have to call Leon later. I also tried to reset my 12v system & turned of every 12v breaker, then turned them back on but it did not reset. May not have done it right though since the system came right back up. Will go outside and try to turn off the inverters and breakers outside after quite hours.

All the big old TVs in my previous coaches were captured with wood blocking so they could not shift around. Neither coach had the TVs themselves screwed or otherwise secured, but instead the blocking kept them from being able to move.

I can’t be sure of your specific cause for the problem, but on both my XL coaches I had to replace the speedometers. It’s an easy replacement, you will have to calibrate the speedo but the instructions are clear on how to do that.

In both cases the odometer failed.
