Orange Beach and Gulf Shores Alabama are a favorite get away for many Louisianans who have 2nd homes there. Plus, some of us like Nick Saban who was LSU’s coach and won the National Championship there in 2003. At least for me as a New Orleans and Orange Beach, AL resident for 15 years, LSU is my team followed closely by Alabama. Geaux LSU. Roll Tide. They’re both natural to say and support.

I note your Orange Beach and Gulf Shore references… I, too, like LSU and have recently become an Alabama fan… not so much because of their coach but because of friendships with guys who have played there…

We stay at Terry Cove at one of the privately owned spots that we lease from time to time… it is very, very nice…

Are you close to there?

We really like the grill that I believe is called the Ship’s Harbor Grill (?) down the street from Terry Cove …

… fabulous food… and a few great boats….

We also go to Fairhope a lot and have recently stayed at the “Coastal Haven” R V park which was convenient to the activities and was acceptable for a short stay…. clean place and well kept… very convenient
