Ours were rotated front to rear same side. Tires not dis-mounted. Geo.

Don’t worry, I didn’t take personal offense. Simply trying to make a ststement re those people who suspect the only reason they pull you over is if you’re speeding or otherwise.
First time 40’plus 29′ closed single level trailer; second time 45′ plus 28′ stacker.

Don’t forget about all the sidewalk engineers here at PC who helped you spent a couple million.

MemberOctober 19, 2014 at 4:10 pm in reply to: Dilemma Assistance Needed – Buy New Class A or Used PrevostWell, I’m sold! The more I lurk around here, the more convinced I become that. Prevost is the way to go in hopefully not the too distant future.
Have to relay a story about a similar thread on another forum I came across recently. Essentially the OP was asking the same question, but being as it was a predominantly non-Provost site, all the replies were along the lines of ‘we like/wanted a used Prevost but couldn’t justify buying a ten year old bus vs a sparkly new plastic MH. As you can see from those that have had both, a ten year old bus wins hands down. One reply did make me laugh though. A chap who was clearly a Forest River fan was trying to make a case for buying that brand on what seemed to be the basis of getting a free annual service if you go to the FR rally every year! Not my idea of a holiday I have to say. Also, unless they hold it at a service centre, how do you properly service a coach in a field? The kicker though? He suggested that the Forest River ‘Charleston’ model (@$200k) was their equivalent of a Prevost, so way pay over the odds! Ignorance is bliss as they say.

Marathon added (2) 150 Amp fuses from the Sure Power equalizer to the house batteries. I will add pics of the clixon fuses. I am not sure of the SP. for the fuse maker.

Jon: GM *does* approve the 2015 Yukon & Tahoe for towing…just that they say to unhook he battery as part of the procedure for getting it ready to tow.
If it was not such a pain to have to reprogram everything, it wouldn’t be that big of a deal if you put a switch of some sort on the neg. cable to use for that purpose. I just don’t want to spend an hour or so each time we have to unhook the toad. Some trips it is everynight…that would get plain ridiculous!

I don’t know if the wires can be unhooked or not. The dealer wants to wait to see what GM will do for a “fix”. With as much crap as there is under the dash, I am not about to start looking for a way to do that..
. I would think that GM could engineer it fairly easily to stay unlocked in tow mode (transfer case in N), as they unlock it when you hit the start button, and should be able to keep it unlocked if the transfer case is in N. The vehicle knows when it is in N because it turns on a light on the 4wd switch. We have pretty much decided to just get something else to tow, and only use that vehicle for towing. Maybe a Jeep or such. I know it is an extra expense, but one setup for towing, it would last for years.

Depending on where on the tire it is, it could be lots of things. Could be running over road debris, hitting curbs or large potholes, or if in the tread area, it could be tread separation due to a faulty tire, or runnning it low on air.
Where on the tires are the problems? Shoulder, sidewall, or tread area? That will help diagnose it better.

We
agree. It’s usually where we stay when we go to the Smokey mountains. We ride a motorcycle and really like the Townsend area.
Good riding in all directions. We have occasionally stayed at Treemount. It’s a
beautiful campground with lots of trees, but it’s tight, even with a 40 footer
and a lot of the campsites are not very level.Ken
