I bought a hydraulic crimper that seems to work pretty well and I used nice colored shrinks that looks like it has glue in it that seeps out when heating up. And the bus bars have 1/2 inch steel on them for transfer rated 400 amps with 4/0 cable, The way it is easy to go back

Jon is spot on… The leveling valve is out of the loop because the Norgren valves “lock” all air therefore your front end drop is the result of leaks elsewhere:

The two Norgren valves can leak internally and not be detectable, its fittings, the air bags themselves and their fittings, the ping tank itself, its fittings and drain valve. Also, the top Prevost installed Norgren on back wall of steer bay – it can leak internally or its top fitting.

Those three norgren’s, the two airbags, the two ping air tanks and ALL attached fits & drains are the only components that can leak causing a front end to go down with the key off.

****Question for you… Were the fittings you found to have small leaks… were they push-in or compression and how did you resolve their leaks?

Well its been two days now since I tightened the loose fittings I found and the front end is staying up. But on the other side of the coin… I live in central Fl and it has been warmer the last few days too. Dan you might have something with the cold temps because it was during our recent cold snap that I noticed the front falling.

Jon: I have a pretty good basic understanding of the air system but what is puzzling me (perhaps not understanding the air system enough) is when the key is off the air is locked at the two Norgrens on either side of the ride height valve, see drawing in first post (correct me if I am wrong). If the air is locked at the two Norgrens on each side of the ride height valve, one for the drivers side and one for the passengers side, why do both sides of the front go down? Not understanding where/how the two are connected with the key off.

Don: I didn’t bubble check the shaft of the ride height valve, looks like another trip under the bus. Got my Aux system down to about 5-8 PSI Hr. In almost 6 years of ownership have never been able to get it less than that.

maybe the tranny is down shifting from 6th to 5th or the torque converter is unlocking?

I don’t do Face Book, The Prevost owners group (POG) is a good site but $100 a year, I’ve been on quite of few forums and never had to pay before. I’ve thought about it in 2017 when we bought bus, i would have spent $700 bucks already

I had this mount made 2+ years ago when no other options were available.

The “dish” does not have to point north to receive.

If you make your own “flat” mount, incorporate permanent slope of 3/4 to 1 inch so rain water will run off as if mounted truly flat, rain water pooling will block reception.

The $2,500 dish is really the way to go for at least two reasons.

It is larger and its in-motion reception is dependable.

If in-motion reception is important, you will be disappointed in the Gen 3 in-motion reception.

Lastly, the $2,500 unit is roof-top mounting ready, including slope to prevent standing water.

They figured out what was wrong why hydraulic fluid on fans and power steering he said drive pump was driven by allison trans and pump seal failed and pumped hydraulic fluid into trans and that’s where fluid went.

Do you mean the filter element?

    I will check and see.

Usually I get them from our local Napa store. I’ll take a picture and post it for you sometime tomorrow.

On my 2007 Liberty gen watchdog, that red light indicates the reset button on the rear of watchdog needs to be momentarily depressed and released to reset the system.

Please let us know the outcome.

My Marathon has a generator sub panel in bay 2 street side. There are breakers in there two of which go from the generator to the inverter gen ac input. Check there if you haven’t already.
