We cut the holes in the roof, ran the cables to the control panel and then shored up the holes and installed the units. Note: the bolts that came with the units were to short so I used all thread with a nut to hold the units in place. It is really not that hard to install them and I used the manual controls to keep things simple. I removed a puck light and put my scope in the opening to see what I was dealing with before we cut the holes. If you decide to do this be careful when you are cutting the holes. As you see in my photos there were a lot of wires where we cut the holes.

Mine has been in for over 7 years and it must not pull much because nothing happens except the water pump comes on. Maybe the 12v wire is way undersized when I installed it I needed a power wire so I went directly to power source next to batteries where all the big relays are connected with the OEM wire on toilet 10gauge wire with 40 amp fuse

Very cool coach! Little Hotrod. I am a new Prevost owner as well. Not new to rving but new to a 99′ Prevost H3-45 Featherlite conversion. First trip is to Deadwood SD at the end of the month. Enjoy! Love the XL’s!

I think what he is asking is why is there a difference comparing the pole and the Bus.

$135 Month to month with NO CONTRACT and unlimited high speed. That’s not expensive compared to other unlimited services.

After all this jargon, what is the bottom line?

Thanks Don. I’m sure EGR has something to do with the differences. Unfortunately, my coach is equipped with EGR.

I didnt need the heating option and it felt simpler then adding another part I didnt really know a lot about. The supply house wasnt able to get one and the one I found on the internet might have worked but no one really knows.

I have 4 working cruise airs. I might add a timer to the one that has no reversing valve.
time to button it all up and put my new aux air compressor in

I would like a spot too if one available.
-
What’s wrong with it?
-
No, it needs some small items fixed.
Truth be told, my wife and I are rethinking the timing of our purchase, what we are very clear about is that Mike at Imperial is a complete joy to work with. Honest, followed thru on every single detail, just an old school dependable person to work with.
Everyone here has been awesome. Time will tell.
