Does anyone know what brand of Paint Country Coach was using in 1992?

Both shops did excellent work and was over 1/2 the price Prevost would have charged. I have gotten excellent service from W.W Williams and Freightliner for engine A/C and even Webasto related issues. Of course, if I am going to be headed through Springfield, MO I try to stop at American Fleet for a check up or top end service.

$1630 per hour is over the top rate.
I just finished an onsite generator service at $1460/hr and had quotes as little as $1350/hr. It took 12.75 hours to replace hoses, freeze plugs, water pump, flush everything and I was even helping.

While weighing your coach is important, it’s more important to weigh each wheel position. If your axle weight is 18000#, it’s quite possible that that’s 8500 and 9500 if you weighed each wheel. So the proper inflation is for 9500 and not 9000 that you would get by simply dividing the total weight by 2. You would never inflate each tire based upon its individual weight but rather you inflate both tires based upon the heavy tire weight.
Weighing and adjusting is better than nothing but it can lead to an incorrect inflation if one side of the coach is heavier than the other (and it almost always is).
I also add 5# to the Michelin chart just because!

Chad,
With your weight information along with correct tire air pressure, bus should be a pleasure to drive.
I’am unable to understand why so many Prevost owners resist weighing there bus ?

Lower panel on left (front wall of closet).
And I got the same answer from Marathon when I asked for wiring diagrams/schematics. The reason I asked was in my original Marathon binder/owners manual (from 1996) it states “If a wire pull list is not included one is avail. from our office”. Apparently that changed. Sure would be helpful.

We bought it and so far it has been our favorite. Most of the stuff is marine, so it’s kind of yacht like. We are throwing away the sat. system, and components to upgrade, but the coach itself is a beast. We bought it site unseen, but I knew what it was. Drove to Zion and then Bryce like a dream. We traded Our ’09 Freightliner for this 2002 Prevost
Our Fourth Unit and first Prevost, WOW what a difference! d

Series 60, 14L, 515 HP, DDEC V, with a broken EGR system.
The coach weighs 53,000.
75 MPH??????????? Never mind, that is just me that gets crazy when I know at 60 our coaches need 280 feet to stop and at 70 they need 450 feet. At 75 you will be in the next county when it gets stopped.

Glad to see you found your 40′. Out of curiosity, is it still posted online somewhere to take a peek?

Very, very profound statement.
I looked at the video of the 2001 Marathon in Denver. That seems like the price is in the reasonable ballpark. If you research the market you’ll have a better feel.
Keep us posted as you make this journey. Good luck!

Those are or were called octagon relays. Common type of relay. Available a lot of places. Where they are used on a Royale I have no clue.

My employees bought me a ride in a “glider”…..
I liked it….
Except for the “Missed Approach” instructions….
