Been there, personally would not stay there again. Sites are far from level, and not all that spacious, very dusty, tight turns on entrance and exit, both lined with huge lava rocks. I’d boondock on the genset before going back, but that’s just me. FWIW…

If you really want a 40′ coach check out the “coaches for sale” part of this forum. There were 2 40’s listed and 1 of them was a Royale.

Chuck, the laws of physics dictate that the only way ALL the fresh water can be transferred into the holding tank is if something mechanical such as the water pump is doing the work. There is no direct connection between the two, and the only way for water to migrate from the fresh water tank to the holding tank is if something is running, such as a sink, the toilet, or any fixture that has a fresh water supply and a drain.

If your pump is not cycling it cannot happen because there is nothing in the coach that can lift fresh water from a low volume in the water tank, to a high volume in the holding tank. Water will not flow uphill by itself.

Make sure your pump switch is turned off and see if the problem persists. If it does hurry to the patent office and get a patent on whatever is causing the problem.

Has anyone known of a situation where a older 8V92 was swapped out for a new or rebuilt D60 in an older coach? Are the mountings different and the connection to the transmission unworkable?
