Spray ’em down with 303 once a month & forget the covers. They’re a pain. Just my 2.

Well boys, 6% pulling my towed, full throttle, she did ok. The power does exceed the cooling capacity, I needed to back out of it and speeds ended up same as before the power addition. It does however make a difference on the flats, while passing, accelerating from lights, etc. But the additional power is useless on long grades. Instrument panel picture attached for reference.

    Wave…

Since ETLC is a fair piece down the road, take a look here. I’ve not dealt with them, but a friend recommended them to us if we were in that area and needed something…

Smart owners replace parts like fan belts even when they look good.

At 5 years use that belt falls into category of dry rubber. Your old belt now carried as a spare.

Okay, here we go with my two cents worth again.

It depends on whether you want to get the best tool for the job or you want to get by as cheap as you can so you can call yourself “protected”. I’ve always wanted the best tool for the job. I’m not a rich guy, but I try to non waste money on junk.

The best tool for the job bus gun wise, IMHO, is the Kel Tec KSG 12ga Bullpup dual tube pump shotgun. Thats what I’m equipped with.

As far as a carry piece I tend to favor a Glock automatic. It’s about the safest and easiest to use handgun on the market. A top quality piece. Either a 9mm or 45 ACP version is fine. I prefer the 45 ACP. The reason for that is that they don’t make a 46.

There are a lot of choices out there, and you can take your pick, but I don’t think anyone would argue with what I’ve said.

One more thing. There is an organization, Concealed Carry University, run by a guy by the name of Patrick Kilchermann, that is in the business of personal firearm protection education. I strongly suggest that you check this out and avail yourself of what they have to offer. You’re getting into an area of tremendous responsibility, potential liability and, if you don’t know what you’re doing, potential danger.

do you have internet connectivity on the coach ? Are you looking for a wifi thermometer (as in you have wifi) or are you looking for a thermometer that has SIM card capability and will automatically connect to say Verizon and send out alerts ? Two completely different items .. .

For instance sensor push is a product that you can have thermometers and they talk over bluetooth to their gateway. the gateway can send alerts over the internet – but it must have internet connectivity to work. Whether thats a router on your bus that you connect to a local wifi spot, or you connect to a cellular modem (like a cradlepoint)

When I 1st bought this coach I rebuilt dryer, Put on a new governor and driving between houses I noticed the dryer purging every 10 or 15 seconds, all 3 gauges are at 120 psi but dryer is tied to wet tank and we don’t know what it’s doing. So next thing is I installed a set of unloader valves in the Truflo 750 compressor on the Detroit engine. Problem went away, that’s been more that 2 years ago and still holding. If it’s sitting at a fast idle or driving it only purges when it needs to.

    Jon,

Obviously if it purges and the aux gauge is cycling it’s a leak, if it’s pissing air every few minutes (that’s what I understood) there’s something wrong with the dryer. I had to rebuilt one of mine due to the purge valve not sealing. Not saying that is the problem, but sounds logical.

It was a service bulletin so coaches with the original logic could be updated, but production units went to the more common logic in the mid nineties.

Prior to that aux air pressure was needed to prevent the tag axle air from being exhausted, and after that change aux pressure could go to zero and air would remain locked in the air bags.
