Is your bus as originally built or has it had Prevest Service Bulletin SB96-14B accomplished?

Its looks to me like a Prevost pt# K910026 which equals a Norgren pt# K41EA00KS1KA2.

Here are 2 PC threads you need to read:

The noise is not just air releasing. It truly sounds like a horn and then pulsates on and off, from loud to softer until you can’t hear it anymore.
I don’t hear this from other buses?

A member with brand new Lifeline AGM batteries (5 of them) destroyed his batteries and to an extent his coach house wiring. The apparent cause was a failed voltage regulator.

The point is that shit happens and it may have a different stink depending on the coach, type of batteries, etc. but malfuncts are a potential and there is no system or batteries or components that will provide 100% protection.

On my Primary on the plastic bowl it has a electricalplug with 2 wires, some kind of water sensor? If so does it need to be there, Lots of filters have no water trap or a built in water trap?

Call Alfred in the transmission shop at S&S. He is pretty good about getting me in on short notice.

My 95 Prevost/96 Liberty has three R12 and one R14 brake relay valves. I rebuilt mine yrs ago. Search here on PC using word “R12” or “R14” and you’ll find threads.

There are 10 total Norgrens, 5 in the front and “maybe” 5 in the rear. In the rear on the bulkhead just fwd of the drive axle, there are two Norgren # K910058 = K81EA00KACKAC, then there are 3 more on the inside of the frame rails above the tag axle. Their part #s depend on your buses tag logic/mod status.

In front, just inside the steer compartment door, on the bulkhead to the lower right near the 5 stack, is a Norgren 3port/2 way K910026 = K41EA00KS1KA2 spool valve, and the upper is a 5port/3 way K910058 = K81EA00KACKAC.

Just fwd and above the steer axle is a K910026 = K41EA00KS1KA2.

Then on the floor of the steer compartment, for my Liberty AUTO leveling option, there are two electric Norgren spool valves= K41EA00KS1KV2.

A good thread here on PC with a lot of about the two possible tag logic setups and associated Norgren and/or Burkett spool valves: LINK

Prevost Le Mirage designation ran from 1976 to 2005. The new stainless shell is known as X3-45

Don’t know about the hiss but does yours have the air cylinders to adjust belts. My cylinder on OTR Compressor leaks and have ordered repair kits from Prevost as mine will settle down in back after a couple days it seems. Kit should be in today as there was a 2 week delay for parts. Heads up if buying new cylinder, almost $1600 bucks and a few months delay from backorder. If you do have this set up check valve that controls cylinders on back bulkhead as mine hissed like a big dog when it went to bypassing. This is on my 91XL. Yours might be different.

Hey Dick, I think I’ll send that photo to Hearth Side Grove and Bella Terra and see if I can get in for a few days.

    Should not be a problem.

The right side is always right hand thread. As for left side look at top of a stud on that side. If the threads and the face of the nut form a narrow V pointing to the front of the bus, they are left hand thread.

As for what side of the bus is left and right, just remember which side your wife sits on (if not driving). That is the right side because she is always right.
