Chuck, the Coleman is a basement unit and fits the same footprint as the RVAC. It is about 3/4 inch wider is only difference.

Usually on an XL there is interior flooring that must come out in order to access the valve cover.

It’s an Allison Transmission programming change. Any Allison shop can do it.

C-Bus, both George and I have Hs and our gravity fill is in the water bay, upper left hand side behind the swinging door that gives you access to the hose and cable reels. My cable connection is mid floor behind the chrome slide plate by the dump connection. Same with park telephone connection (tells you how old my coach is, I have a phone connection)

There are 2 fuses directly from the chassis battery bank, one is for the trans and one is for the engine ECU un switched constant power. If these get corroded or have an intermittent connection it will cause the exact problem you suggest. It will not throw a code as it goes dead then when the connection remakes it will restart. These 22 fuses are probably worth the time to check.

Jon, if you got your share of the dues money you could afford to spend more time buying fittings and spending more time on the coach instead of the garden and canning operations you and Di undertake every year.

I’ll be the first to donate to your GoFundMe page.

Les, I would not add anything to that circuit as it only adds something to fail. If the fans don’t run, no generator. Go ahead and replace the fans if you think they should be done. That setup is the same as on my previous Legendary and I never had a fan issue, and don’t think Roger Foster has had any either…maybe he will chime in if he has had problems with the fans.

As to the noise…I bet if you have the a/c running, you don’t hear the generator fans, right?

If leaks are in the air bag they can be a special challenge. The bottom “can” is steel and can rust so you lose pressure, but because it is surrounded by a plastic piston the rubber rolls over as it flexes you cannot get soapy water or any leak detector at that point or see any bubbles if you could.

Leak detection involves ears, a stethoscope, soapy water, and ultrasonic leak detector or a means of pressurizing a system or part of a system to look for pressure drops. There is no single method of finding all leaks that is best. Each method has its benefits and shortcomings.

But if I were to guess, on a 2007 with original parts my first task would be to spray every fitting and valve and make sure I also spray the joint at the end caps of the valves and exhaust ports. From that point on it gets difficult and tedious, and very expensive if you hire someone to do the leak checking.

Thanks for the sage advice I have spent over 30 years in the oil and gas industry and one thing that has been pounded into my thick skull is safety… and sorry if I gave the impression that this was a “scatter gun” approach it will be done very methodically and with extreme caution as some of these air lines and valves look very brittle… thanks again for all the information extremely helpful!

Swagelock fittings are the best Oil and gas has been using them for years very durable and reliable

I sent an email with my phone number. I have a 2001 H Vantare and may be able to help. Would require a long winded answer, so phone would be best.

Unplug temp sensor and leave it unplugged to start with.
